"Recent 12" from Lethal B, former of More Fire, now of Fire Camp. This one, 'Forward 2', is the sequel to his breakout track 'Pow (Forward),' which was a mainstream hit in the UK, and as such made him one of the first grime artists to get a deal (with major-indie V2). His longstanding (but now squashed?) beef with Wiley sort of configures them as the Nas & Jay-Z of grime, though I'm not sure B is quite on Wiley's level so maybe the Nas/Hova comparison is a little generous. In any case, UK whites like this are scarce over here, so check this while you can. Contains a 'cheeky' bit of advertising which might have Americans saying 'uhhh?'" --Rob Buschgans.
