Lopazz aka German producer Stefan Eichinger releases his third EP for Get Physical. The title track is one of the warmest electronic tracks you'll hear in 2007, with its combination of sweet, uplifting chords that nod to classic deep house and a squelchy, bass-heavy groove. "Gimme Gimme" presents tough, stomping drums that play host to a swirling, layered synth riff which brings the listener to a psychedelic parallel universe. Finally, Isolée delivers a remix of "Share My Rhythm." It's the clubbiest remix he has done recently, with a pulsing, dubby rhythm underpinning Lopazz's beautiful chords.

Lopazz presents We Are, enlisting the remixing powers of Rex The Dog and Einzelkind. Rex works in fat analog bass, crazy acid lines and chopped-up drums for an epic re-working -- joyous, bug-eyed and maximal. Einzelkind makes use of the original vocals, strapping them to a tough, taut, tech-house progression, with ascending synth-hooks that recall '80s electro-pop at its dystopian best. The original is dramatic and propulsive, with emotive synths, a mutant R&B vocal, and electronic blips and bleeps. Unmissable.

Lopazz has been releasing outstanding material since the inception of Get Physical Music in 2002. "You got to be different, if you want to survive," states Jesse Sharps, his deep, raspy drawl shrouding "V-Point" like thick smoke in a bar with no windows. "G-Point" is a straight-up house workout -- jacking snares and percussion unite within a classic form. "Credit Card Receipt" is remixed by The Fix, who dramatize the Detroit-esque pad section and add some extra energy via a hypnotizing synth-stab rhythm.
