"Created by only a few dozen Nordic producers, the skweee movement is the lost offspring of Mantronix and P-Funk. This handful of futurist beatsmiths have been spreading their gospel underground for a couple of years now, collecting props from the likes of Kode9, Rob Da Bank & Mary Anne Hobbs, attracting the attention of The Wire & hosting their own stage at legendary Sonar festival. Skweee, so named because of its 'squeezed' sound, lollops & lurks within the 77-105bpm sonic abyss, introducing vintage synths to leftfield drum programming in an all-electro love-in. Much like dubstep in it's youth, skweee courts a variety of collaborators and still treads an untouched path. Emerging from the electro fuzz we have skweee's major players, Flogsta Danshall.
