"Marc Marzenit is a young man in his twenties from Mollerusa, Lleida & one of the sensations of the moment in the electronic Spanish scene. Required by the most well known clubs and festivals owing to his superb and eclectic live, where the most pounding minimal to the most sturdy techno fits in. This wide sound range is the one we can just appreciate in Trozitos de Navidad, his first EP that has been brought out through Paradigma Musik. This EP is made up with three cuts. Lke the Border Community's minimal tech house progressive (do not misunderstand, Marc doesn't want to reassemble to nobody), but from the techno point of view it's quite close to Detroit or even the very best times of Scandium or Kanzleramt. Hypnotic techno following the style of Paul Kalkbrenner or Robert Babicz and with melancholic beams makes it compatible with minimal progressive house or whatever the selector wishes. Marzenit highlights in his ability to agglutinate thousands of styles in hardly six or seven minutes."

"'ITS Caracas,' a track so powerful, it could glide out of an album sleeve by itself, yet is better accompanied with its remix counterpart. Paradigma founder, Marc Marzenit and London-Berlin techno wünderkind, Gavin Herlihy, collaborate in the ying and yang of EP releases. Side A is a raw introduction to propeller engines weaving in and out of wild jungle beats, simultaneously taking you on a journey through trippy sounds and psychedelic notions. Marc lays it out masculine, hot and aggressively, creating a peek-like riding experience until the explosive end. On the flip side, 'ITS Caracas (Gavin Herlihy Remix)' is contrasted by softer minimal beats as a subtle tranquility pulls the propeller sounds and psychedelic layers towards the back of the track filling the atmosphere with airy grooves and alleviation. As a producer and a live artist, Marc Marzenit draws his inspiration from a wide array of musical influences ranging anywhere from Bach and Beethoven to Fatboy Slim and Massive Attack. His greatest musical achievements are marked by his impregnation of sense and sensibility to 'muscular' techno as well as being precocious in his electronic work -- a personal and unique style, positively setting him on the outside quarters of other talented 'techs.'"

"ITS Caracas (Paradigma 014) returns to Paradigma Musik in the form of three remixes, molding a delightful 12-incher for Paradigma's 18th release. Paul Ritch covers the A-side with a faster paced house version encompassed in a rich background of high intensity and psychedelic notions. His admirable use of loops and tools transforms the track into an attractive DJ-compatible dance floor hit. Ritch, whose musical success took an upward hike in the last two years, released on the likes of Get Physical Music (Fortuna, June), Fumakilla (Back to the Time), Paradigma Musik (Higher) and MiniSketch (Nordbahnhof). In 2007, his tracks were also included in nine internationally prominent mix albums such as John Digweed's Transitions, Vol. 3, Gui Boratto's Addicted, Vol. 2, Global Underground: Rio from Layo & Bushwacka! and M.A.N.D.Y.'s Ibiza '07. His attention to detail is carefully characterized in his producing and remix work. The two part, B-sider is shared by Madrid based producers Prompt and Henry Saiz."
