1998 release. Here comes the first part of a remix series for the Munich-based pop-group Merricks who released their passionate disco reflections The Sound of Munich on our Sub Up-Records label last year. Abe Duque aka Kirlian and Gene Le Fosse transform the Merricks' 'Schwabing Girls' into a 4 to the floor techno stomper with a sincere taste of 'supersexy Munich'. Gigolo recording artist DJ Naughty reworks 'Ciao Ciao Disco' as energetic string inferno and the Organic-collective from New York changes the same song into a psychedelic funk track, featuring an electric guitar solo which the Merricks would never dare to play themselves. The Merricks remix series will be packed in a very special 5-color-sleeve.
