"The 15th Freakshow release should seriously be on the wantlist of everybody who is searching for timeless electronic dance music that is aiming at the peaktime moments of the night. It is grooving like hell by having a minimalistic approach wrapped in carefully crafted high class arrangements, hypnotically pushing & uplifting all of your senses. On the A-side, Fausto Messina comes up with 'Bafile Street', a proper microphunk stormer slightly sounding like a tribute to Baby Ford's all-time classic track 'Make a Move.' 'Bafile Street,' is a track that is more than predestinated for being found in the peaktime moments of one of Ricardo Villalobos' DJ-sets. The flipside track is a contribution coming from 2 real techno-wizards. On the one hand Jackspot, whom we know from Datapunk or Highgrade releases alongside his mate Diego. Their track, called 'Muchen,' slightly reminds us of evergreens in techno history from Mathew Herbert mixed with a bit of Wishmountain.
