Originally released in 2006. Métrika releases his debut Crosstown Rebels EP with a massive remix from Berlin's Dirt Crew aka James Flavour and Break 3000. The first track "Time" features a vocal from Issabelle which is further highlighted by a glitchy, stripped-down beat. The same track gets the once-over from the Dirt Crew boys, who take it to the main floor at peak time, without losing the beauty of the original. "Ichi" and "It Goes Back" will appeal to fans of recent Pier Bucci releases -- layers of smooth sounds and deep atmosphere with strong grooves and lush sample use.
