Recordings from 1971-74, previously issued on two LPs by the UK label Caroline Records. "Saxist Lol Coxhill met pianist Steve Miller in 1968, when Lol was a guest with Steve's band at a club. Lol then joined the band, which soon re-named itself Delivery. A few years later, Lol left Delivery just as they were about to record their debut (and only) album, although he appeared on the album as a guest. He joined Kevin Ayers' Whole World, which included a 15 year-old bassist, the then-unknown Mike Oldfield. After some tours and one album, Lol left Kevin Ayers to concentrate on his solo work just as Delivery was coming to an end and transforming itself into Hatfield and the North. Steve and Lol struck up a partnership that lasted several year, many live performances and which resulted in two albums, which are now very hard to find and go for 'collector's prices.'"
