Minimono is an artistic project who expresses the concept of modernity trough art and music by a collaboration between a DJ and a musician respectively Fabio Della Torre and Ennio Colaci. This sound concept is based on minimalism, with a touch of funk and groove. Italian duo Minimono make their Tuning Spork vinyl debut with a sunny house groove. The original "Ratman" is bouncy and cheerful, but a bit off-kilter. The lead melody is sung by an actual rodent-human hybrid, and the ambient noise of a crowded room is integrated with house-y vibes. Next up is a more stripped-down version from Zander VT. Hugo's remix is full of his trademark cartoon violence. Finally, Jay Haze offers an understated interpretation with elements of string and flute.
