Following up Someone Else, Butane, Dilo vs Gurtz, now we have Miskate -- a girl hailing from Philadelphia with rapidly growing fame. Melodicuckoo is an EP full of sensibility and personality. This is weird and unusual techno music that can cause an earthquake on the dancefloor -- using micro-samples of her pleasant voice and field recordings. She creates minimal house atmospheres with amazing and obscure rhythms. The long-play track, 'Melodicuckoo,' seems to be playful and serious all at once.
