Modeselektor's first single from their album Happy Birthday, "The Dark Side Of The Sun" is a collaboration with Puppetmastaz and the puppets bang and boom and rap and rock like hip-hop's finest ghetto blaster gods. The 2000 And One remix brings this rap piece to the techno clubs. Some dubby and trancy elements also make sure that the track will take off on the dancefloor. This version uses the snarling synth line and speeds it up. Straight beats are added to compliment the distorted vocals, as well as a 4/4 that makes you move your ass.
