Germany's Mollono.Bass reveals a very laid-back character but also a very independent and open-minded approach to electronic dance music on his debut album. The first track "In The Meadow" represents not only a humorous hint at the best possible place to listen to this work, but also creates a kind of atmospheric foundation for the entire album in its light and fluffy manner. The lively hustle and bustle on My Hidden Playground happens in many different ways: sometimes it's the frisky bounce of hopping bass lines and stimulating house rhythms, sometimes it's hypnotic sound structures that take the listener on an adult adventure. "Slowly but constantly, days are getting longer again and clothes become shorter and shorter. Green is sprouting on the acres around and Acker Records delivers the perfect soundtrack for the euphoric hormone cocktail of the first warm days in spring: 'Endlich Fruhling' means nothing else but 'finally spring' and that is exactly what it's all about: The A1 song comes with plenty of cosy but pushing boost in its lower sections; above that some driving percussion and dreamy, playful melodies unfold. Subtle string entries underline the very positive flow of this track. On the flipside, Rundfunk 3000 take up the idea of the original and add a proper pinch of melodica sounds. The result presents much more song character and is perfectly appropriate for late afternoon dance floors as well as a stimulating breakfast on the balcony. Finally, the track 'Rabulka' features a pretty different style: Very driving bass sounds, various rhythmic elements and dubby melodies evolve an astonishing deepness. This is for the spring time!"

"Moolono.Bass is known as a part of the legendary Kombinat 100 quartett and also label head of the fresh founded Acker Records where he has released his debut EP Linstow EP at the end of 2006. In the past he did a successful remix for Marlose's 'Hey Na' on Ostwind Records 04. Now he is back on the front and we are happy to present his own debut EP on Ostwind. Like his productions with Kombinat 100, Mollono.Bass combines warm, grooving and driven drum sets with dubby, harmonic and emotional elements to tell the crowd special moments. After his debut EP Hey Na (played by Gesine Pertenbreiter for example) and the great Minikosmonauten remix to Kombinat 100, Marlose is also back on the front with his Eupho-Riemix, where he takes 'Endless Summer' in a more floor and ear candy oriented minimal version in his familiar pumpin' style!"

"We are very pleased that we are able to serve you a special delicacy just after the summer break. Our hobby cook Mollono.Bass has taken much time for his dish to obtain some of the best ingredients. His composition 'The Vagabond and the Love' is a heavenly seduction that is looking of his equal. Deep going sound that we not otherwise have come to expect from 'Molle.'
