The original has a monster groove filled with a lot microsampling-house like parts and little influences from the so called good old Brighton techno. This track is the perfect choice to start your party if other records haven´t reached this! Push the button or pull the trigger! Julien Chaptal is known for his deep housey grooves which he recently presented on his Tokens LP on Area Remote and all his other work for this label and 100% Pure. On side B of the Forward Funk, he added much more housey and playful percussions to the beats of the remix version to get a more gallant way of house in this track.
