"Mr Projectile's homegrown label Semisexual returns, after the smashing reception accorded his 'Love here' inaugural release for the label. With a handpicked selection of remixers in tow, the source material at their disposal was all drawn from Matt Arnold's Merck album release Sinking. Tillmann made an impressive showing lately on the Chicago-based Consumers Research & Development label, and this mix of the title tune occupies a blissful melodic space, sometime between dawn and sunrise. Storm clouds gather and disappear, to be replaced by the glimmers of the morning sun. Cepia's contribution lives up to his last appearance, remixing on 'Ghostly International' for L'Usine, and never has a label name seemed so appropriate in the context. A guitar gradually insinuates itself further inside a disintegrating beat, the use of overtones is more than impressive. Mitchell Akiyama's own aquatic style is fully at home here, neat pads and an organic keys motif preside over a rolling rhythm which is actually one big stealthy groove, a covert headnodding delight."

"Projectile has unleashed a slew of releases over the last few years, notably for Toytronic, Merck, Parotic as well as contributing numerous tracks to the likes of Musik Aus Strom, On, Consumers Research and Development and many more. Limpid, lightly toasted beats, just crispy around the edges with a dash of sauce. The title track settles in inimitable fashion around an impossibly tricky rhythm, a devious bass surge and sublime melodies gliding along on top, gathering into a swathe of angel dust by the conclusion. 'Everything will be ok, but not awesome' is the pick for us -- anthemic style. From the delicate, imperceptible beginning, melodic ideas are positively teased into the fray -- a tune of two halves brian, as polyrhythms kick in to build portentously into a serious piece of headnodding electronic funk."
