"The first official output of this obscured 60s band the Mutual Understanding who created a sound somewhere betwixt Free Design, Eternity's Children, Association, Small Circle of Friends, and Harpers Bizarre. Their sole album In Wonderland was originally released on Nimbus 9 in 1968. In Wonderland is an obscured pop-psych masterpiece from Canada, this recording were presented jointly by the legendary Canadian independent label Nimbus 9 Productions and the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) at that time. The Mutual Understanding combines the musical talents of the great Canadian musicians; Ben McPeek, Jimmy Dale and Jerry Toth, with the clever and innovative vocal stylings of Canada's top vocal group, the Laurie Bower Singers. The album captures a unique post psychedelic musical moment in time that enchants with its own flavor."
