"Born in Olympia, WA and now calling Portland, OR their home, guitarist Jason Buehler and percussionist Mark Shirazi meticulously warp hard funk, psych, soul, dub, angular rock and no-wave noise into a mechanical beast that can take you from dream to dance in 30 seconds flat. The instrumentation is relatively simple: guitar and drums. But it's the endless tap-dancing of effects pedals and rock solid dub beats that make every moment more magical than the last. Recorded entirely in their home studio, most of the tracks are largely improvised, with only basic ideas and motifs to start from.
