Here he was, 8 million miles away from the earth, roughly awakened from his deep frozen sleep by the automatic emergency braking. Bewildered, he was still staring at the monitor when he suddenly realized: "It's an apple tree, I got stuck in an apple tree, after an 8 million miles long flight!?"
