Artist: SARAH GOLDFARB
Title: Sport Billy EP
Label: DUMB-UNIT (CANADA)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: DU 037EP
France's Sarah Goldfarb is a man on a mission and what we have here is two stripped-to-the-bone, smart as f*** pumping and rolling technoid stompers. "Sport Billy" is based on subtle grooves, and you won't find any elements getting of hand... just a nice track that screws itself into your eardrums. "Tin et Tus" sonically cleans them out again.

Title: From New York To Las Vegas
Label: ROMAN PHOTO (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $11.50
Catalog #: RP 008EP
"This new EP talks about an unreasonable and animated flight between N.Y. and Las Vegas in August 2007. The two tracks delivered by Sarah Goldfarb have been produced just before and just after this American trip with her crazy friend 'Dadou.' 'Twenty-four Dollars,' (Peter Minuit bought Manhattan Island from Indians for $24), the flip side, tries to be functional and hypnotic at the same time. Probably a real burner for the crowd with a special work for upbuilding arrangements and quasi-tribal percussions. Played by Sarah, many people said that it's one of her best productions. 'One hundred and Ten Fahrenheit' (could be the temperature in Las Vegas during summer!) is the finale of the travel -- the music must be good at the end. With some dub elements, this track sounds like an emergency alarm with a huge acid sequence's breakdown. Redwan takes care of the remix. This is a family release -- his 'Twenty-four Dollars' interpretation has more electro-house vibrations than the original. The sexy voice and the 'bang bang bong' electro bassline make a hypnotic tool full of intensity."

Title: Panenka EP
Label: TOYS FOR BOYS (BELGIUM)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: TFBR 013EP
"The mysterious Sarah Goldfarb (Jean Vincent Luccini) has been raising hell for the last year or so with releases on Dumb Unit, Treibstoff, Curle, and a roof lifting remix for Christian Quast on Obsolete Recordings. However Luccini/Goldfarb has been passionate about house and techno since completing his studies in Cinema in 1994, a year that just a handful of people on the entire planet have any memories of."

Title: La Demission Du Coach
Label: TREIBSTOFF (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $9.00
Catalog #: TREIB 060EP
"The enormous increase in performance at Treibstoff's racing stable can hardly be ignored anymore, especially when one of the hottest acts is at the start showing off his muscles: here comes Sarah Goldfarb and presents the hungry party crowd two tracks that come along like a sensational bang, with a bass drum like a fitness club and hypnotizing sequences like an exciting trip through a tunnel towards the light. Neo-choral sound planes are bursting over archaically pushing, almost Robert Hoodish beat patterns, making the audience move in a damn tight network of pure energy and euphoria. All stops of techno have been pulled out: sophisticated mechanics meet thumping, thundering machines from the industrial revolution and the sweat is shining on the faces of the party community jumping its banks. You will be swept along, and when I am clicking my fingers, you'll wake up and feel great."

Title: Crashed By EP
Label: TREIBSTOFF (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: TREIB 072EP
"You know, it's a jungle out there...and Sarah Goldfarb obviously agrees with that. Treibstoff's regular artist once again pulled out his precision tool and has created a most delicate sound structure around stumbling beats. And it seems as if his only aim is to wind you around his little finger. Actually, no big deal for Sarah Goldfarb: both tracks are telling a convincing story thanks to the seducingly sequenced vocal bits, the snappy, percussive rumbling underneath and the pushing, hypnotic synth peaks above. And even if the structure may sound delicate, it is throughout tearproof. Its high-tech outfit is more glamorous than masking; it's perfect for the urban survival battle and a safe shelter for any dancefloor. So, should you find yourself again lost in the club until your best side has melted away in the early morning sun, and should the walls start talking to you, then you'd better remember this: it's ok, it's fine... as long as you don't answer."

Title: Boom Boom Babies
Label: TREIBSTOFF (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $11.00
Catalog #: TREIB 088EP
"Sarah Goldfarb's flying circus certainly isn't a mothy old stage. A light-fueled, premium-steeled ride sounds more like it, tearing past bleepy bass drops and aesthetically grinded synth cascades. It's one heck of a groove that Sarah is driving there, refining every singular sound particle until it swings right, pushing the envelope in every direction thinkable. Bounces featherlike, always, but never loses shape. Eternal hotness."
