Remastered in 2002. The Kristian Schultze Set album, with the original title Overdrive, was initially released in 1972 on Tempo Records. Group members include Joe Nay, Pawel Jazerbski, Olaf Kübler, and Dusko Goykovich. It was an absolute exception in German jazz music and much sought-after in jazz and rare groove circles. This re-issue Recreation contains one additional, previously unreleased track with a sax and trumpet. The line-up for this album is simply called Kristian Schultze Set. All of Kristian Schultze compositions deny any rigid classification. His smooth keyboard-playing leads to an undreamt-of tension when meeting with the rough and tough electronic sounds of his Fender piano and synthesizer.
