Speicher 49
is scientifically-correct hypnosis with a coolness factor of 10. Music full of dignity. The message comes out of the right mixture of listening and not listening, and the music leaves a lot of room for fantasy. Everything is there, you just have to recognize it. Variety is the enemy of real minimal! Real beauty is timeless.

puts his foot down on the always-the-same magic. Music that knows everything, but expects nothing, music that promises nothing but always keeps its word. Sog is the last loop before you enter paradise.

PROFAN 032EP

This is minimal art-techno that raises questions.

PROFAN 035EP
Following the legendary first two, stoically super-minimal records, Profan presents
Fremde Hände
. The A-side contains a tonally noncommittal sequence ambling across the keyboard in quantized form, reminiscent of the arpeggiator (accompaniment function) function of early '70s and '80s synthesizers. On the B-side, daring and thoroughly unquantized quaver rhythms rock around a bass drum that, as the only straight element, tries to keep the whole thing together. The result sounds a little like a delirious
