Matthias Tanzmann
presents two versions of "Chano," demonstrating just where house can take you on the threshold of a new decade. The original concentrates on a percussive rhythm and a lyrical vocal, its carefully-placed sounds building the track into a dynamic and hypnotic whole. The "Second Mix" is arranged more classically -- a deep chord, a clear beat, accentuated hi-hats and claps. The percussiveness here is more profound, shaping the track in a completely different way.
