"Miles's music is powered by a blend of deep atmospherics and heavy sequencing balanced with live keyboards, field recordings, and a broad assortment of rhythm. He generates a melodic ambient sound creating a flow that unifies his music, drawing inspiration from the diverse influences of the rave music of the early '90s, industrial, The Beatles, and Pink Floyd. We haven't heard from Miles in a while. He's done remixes for Mr. Projectile (Semisexual, M3rck), Tiki Obmar (M3rck), and String Theory (Consumers, Wobblyhead) but Over & Through was the last release w/ more than one song from him, and was released almost two years ago. A lot of things changed in that time, and in the case of Miles, he chose to expand his musical horizons. Xenon is the sound of a more mature and confident musician."
