"It has been a long year since the last Machinedrum album came out on Merck, in that time Machine Drum (aka Travis Stewart) has been busy touring the US and Japan, as well as carefully crafting the shapes and sounds of his much anticipated new record under the alias Tstewart. He has also been working on more material for his aliases Syndrone and Machinedrum, as well as developing what is definitely his most mature album yet, Living Exponentially. Stewart takes one part Bidnezz, a touch of Salmataxia, and a whole slew of live instrumentation and mixes them together in a blender to get Living Exponentially. The album delves into dense melodic loveliness and intricate IDM, as well as lots of instrumental studio recordings layered amongst delicate and dense textures. The compositions are smooth head nodders filled with the classic Machine Drum sound mixed with live instruments of the jazz and rock influence."
