"Very limited pressing!! MM is o'er the moon in welcoming Vindicatrix properly to the fold by announcing the release of his long player Die Alten Bosen Lieder. Vx recently manifested with 'Private Places' on MM026/MM030 in reMMix & original form courtesy of Shackleton & Baron M. He is a veritable troubadour who utilizes both the reverbed suitcase & damp palimpsest to regale his fibrous tales. The tuba also squeezes in on the act. Roughly translated as 'The Old Wicked Songs,' the album spans a three-track 12" & eight-track CD-R with unique wet-cobbled aplomb. Vx creates a tangible environment on his refracted pilgrimage thru pop's outer-lying environs. There's a 'letting go' to his work that enhances the well-heeled sonic gravel crunching on show. I recoMMend everything that seeps from the Nesst but this project in particular deserves a high frequency classical fanfare. Vx's treated brass & woodwind ebb from the IBM like nothing Elst...four to the spore."
