"Known for successfully launching Heimatmelodie and releasing on labels like Sender, Liebe *Detail, Safari Electronique and many more, Andre Crom presents his new label OFF. This label does not want to be associated with a specific style; the primary intention is to release tracks that stand for themselves; that have a unique appeal ready to stand the test of time. 'Timeless and grown-up techno and house' is the only limitation in terms of style for OFF. With this said, it becomes obvious why Mirco Violi and Fabio Giannelli's music is perfect to start OFF with. The sympathetic young DJs and producers are based in Milan and belong to the fastest rising stars of the Italian scene. Artists like Luciano, Italoboyz, Matthias Tanzmann, Matthias Kaden, Lauhaus and many are supporters of Mircos former releases on labels like Be Chosen or Heimatmelodie, and the first OFF release is also sure to find many friends. 'Japan Woman' on the A-side features a woofer-shaking bass line, a deep percussion groove and extremely catchy vocals -- a perfect tune for the wasted late hours of the night. Mike Wall keeps the original sound aesthetic, but turns it into a primetime club-mover. Mirco's solo work 'Shakeresque' on the B is just that: a straight and simple groovy bass combined with an energetic guitar loop able to re-infuse some energy even into the most tired dancefloor. Andre Crom and Charles Widmore (Perplex) transform 'Shakeresque' into a techier rave-tune using chord stabs to raise the attention before dropping into that anthemic guitar loop."
