"Love Charms" is a hot mid-tempo R&B cut with a popcorn feel, recorded back in the late '50s by Larry Williams for Art Rupe's Specialty label, originally written and recorded by Ray Stanley. On the flip, one of a reported 20 recorded takes of Larry Williams' attempt at Little Richard's hit "Heeby Jeebies" with Earl Palmer on drums.

"Born in New Orleans and raised in California, Larry Williams is from the hard-driving school of R&B, whose fellow classmates included Little Richard and Robert Parker.
