The unorthodox, vamping rework of "I Say A Little Prayer" on this record probably would've had Burt Bacharach running for cover. "Reuben is one of those somewhat rare organists who began their professional lives playing this instrument, without paying any prior dues as a pianist."

"A standout funk session from organist Reuben Wilson -- a Hammond player best known for his Blue Note albums of the early '70s, but who steps out wonderfully here in a rare date for Chess Records. The setting is quite unique -- a mixture of Wilson's soaring organ lines with some heavy funk backings from maestro Brad Baker.
