"Daniel Savio, Tor Lowkrantz, Aksel Friberg citizens of Sweden deep and frozen fresh for your ears, we are happy to bring this fine release to you. These 3 young men are truly talented and bring just enough but never too much to every song on this EP. A1) 'Reunion' -- a constant favorite here at Volt HQ. This is a fine lesson in deep, feeling music. Makes me smile and cry. A2) 'Regn' -- Ahh the long winter nights, driving for something to do. Early morning sunshine, heavy frost. A fine breakfast indeed. B1) 'Reporter' -- Electro rhythms fly with deep chords and delay, recalling bitstreams of pleasure. B2)'Codex Eticus' -- Possibly the best is saved for last -- sustaining pads, mini kliks and synth heaven take us to the happy/sad center of our label."

One of Jay Haze's working identities. His releases as The Architect are "primarily geared to bring glitch and deepness to the dancefloor -- tracks that make you shake your booty while dousing your head in minimal crackles, scrapes, scrunches, warm tones and rolling basslines."

VOLT 241EP
"As the vampire rises in the evening dusk, this 2-sided 10" record is a form of rebirth, a second chance or ghost of another time. Originally released on the long unavailable vinyl-only LP of
Carthage Milk
by Swayzak's James Taylor. These two overlooked swingers are presented in full, glorious, unedited form. Remastered at Dubplates and Mastering (Berlin) they are polyrythmic and ultra-detailed, yet you can sing along! Warm and organic, they blurp and blart a path from the ear to the hips. 'Leave Me Alone' starts in dub house land, quickly taking off with some ever-shifting grooves and an oh-so-blue synth line. Like a hundred tubes of Smarties at once shaking and melting in your hot little hands as everything reduces to a super sweet over-saturated solution of sound. 'Recto/Verso' is the upstart little brother, both annoying and endearing. Its crooning cut-up voices lead us to a superdiluted acid line that comes down via some nasal vowel sounds. A tribute to the lost art of the photocopier. Thanks to Alexxx of Logistic for letting us bring these back to life, thanks also to RRR, DJ Purple and Roger23. And thank you, dear listener."
