"French born dubstep producer, DJ Absurd (aka Monstr), began making beats over ten years ago. Now 27, and father of one daughter, DJ Absurd really began to make waves in the dubstep and grime scenes with his first release receiving more than 8000 sales. Absurd followed this on by releasing the first grime 12" vinyl in France, Gonshat. Also the founder and front man for the Resofantom label/crew, DJ Absurd has been at the forefront of the European grime/dubstep scene through both his production and DJing all over Europe, having played in the biggest venues and alongside the biggest names about (names include Wretch 32, Virus Syndicate, Earz, Sniper E, Flirta D) . Now working very closely with the new Aphex recordings label, Absurd is set to take dubstep on it's home ground and all around the world, with his first release, Felt The Need, alongside Nika D from Virus Syndicate, and remixes by MRK1 and Poet Shadeo."
