Note: these are both CDRs. "Arthur King's first CD (Gangsta Breaks), an exceptional mix of classic breaks that were sampled by G-era types, and now he follows up with a mix of '80s/pop and hip-hop. Not the most novel idea in the world, but the execution is flawless. Really flawless. Arthur put in mucho hours on the programming here, mixing original joints with the songs that sampled 'em (Miami Sound Machine into Mase), making blends (Biggie over Liquid Liquid), cutting up a ton of shit, and just generally keeping it MOVING for 80 minutes and 37 tracks. Well done, again, to our favorite Frenchman at the controls."
