'Pik Ass' focuses on string melancholy with wiper sounds and functional dub tech structures. The rhythmic elementary particles are pulsating forward alternately, arousing undamped enthusiasm even on a restrained tempo level. Following the short snare intermezzo 'Schnittlaux (Cut Edit),' 'Eartha Kitt' is also based on a similarly sensual string, but imitates the Kitt-like 'rolled R' with bass-stressed synthie sounds in a percussive dub context. How lovely that the timelessly hypnotic tracks of the Berlin-based Heiko Laux finally can be heard by everybody!"
