"Prism includes two excellent tracks, mainly produced with the famous 'Machinedrum' and all brought into being by Robert as well as a fantastic Robag Wruhme (Wighnomy Brothers) remix. 'Prism' is an ode to acid, of course, but also to the psychedelic element Robert misses in current club music. Go with spiraling vox-snippets and the twinging acid bleeps and you will experience some unexpected twitches and flashes on the dancefloor. This trippy monster track is directly followed by 'Rock' on A2, which can be described as 'steamrolling minimal rock.' This one slowly but surely takes control of your heart rate, you exhale steam and the journey begins. Massive. The B-side features a stunning rework of 'Prism,' coming right from the Musik Krause HQ. "Founded in 2004 by Steve Bug, the young label Audiomatique is proud to present it's first album-CD: Audomatique Volume 1.0. Founded initially as a side label to the seminal Poker Flat Recordings, and a medium to release music that neither fitted to Poker Flat or Dessous. "Molder is a new member of the Audiomatique producer circuit. Nino Bregovic is a fresh talent from Croatia who presents his slamming debut release Tongue In The Hole on Audiomatique. The title track on A1 starts with a pleasant warm mood. Short, funky keys, a cool bassline and shuffling hi-hats push this track forward -- smoothly but surely. 'Breast Milk' on A2 starts a bit more aggressively, with a slightly distorted bass sound and some rough beats. Added chords mixes the rough atmosphere up a bit, finishing in an extraordinary mixture which makes this very special piece of club music. The flip side boasts Trapez artist Alex Under's splendid remix of this track. The rework of the Spanish producer delivers an unbelievable bomb of funkiness and high-end groove. Enormously powerful music, presented in such a fleet-footed way."

"The Adultnapper is Francis Harris from Brooklyn, New York, a shrewd & clever coeval who reveals his vision of modern electronic dance music on his first EP for Audiomatique entitled Gravity EP -- three new cold twinkling Techno tracks. The well-read producer carefully chose the track names which refer to what he considers as greatest novel of the 20th century: Gravity's Rainbow by Thomas Pynchon. Much of his relationship with music coincides with his love of literature. When he is working on tunes, he tends to have a specific project or concept in mind. At the time, he was thinking of some specific moments in the novel and this music came to mind. The first track an the a-side named 'Fodder Feeder' refers to the material production of knowledge in media and capital, a feedback loop of control that works in its apparent flaws and mistakes. If one notices, the main synth that comes in is a bit odd and almost out of time, but works in a grinding sort of way. 'Metabulia' on b1 is the living organism that is no organism at all. Just the illusion of humanity as projected by the fodder feeder (the word doesn't even exist). And 'Slothrop' on b2 is actually the main character in Gravity's Rainbow. Now you know."

"Piet van Dongen from Nijmegen, Netherlands is another new and talented face on the Audiomatique artist circuit and presents his interpretation of now-sounding techno on his debut release 'Hate To Say O.K.' He always knew that music would play a very, or even the most important role in his life. He and no one else realised that it would be techno in the end, but fortunately here it comes. The title track on A1, 'Hate To Say O.K.' immediately starts with a twisted melody, morphing from the left to the right and backwards and forwards. Paired with a strong acid line, dry claps and one of those much beloved open hi-hats and an increasing and decreasing strength of attack, this track could definitely be your very own peak time bomb."

"Born in 1974 in Sao Paulo, Gui Boratto is one of the owners of the Brazilian independent label Megamusic. In 2005, he began to focus on his own productions and compositions, developing a more narrative and personal style. With countless licenses on respected European labels such as Plastic City, Circle, Kompakt and now also Audiomatique, among others, Gui Boratto has managed to appear in the charts and playlists of people like Michael Mayer, Tiefschwarz, Steve Bug, Phonique, Martin Landsky and Hernan Cattaneo. The title track is 'Beluga' on the A-side. This track is a an exciting mixture of old school house elements paired with pumping modern electronic house sounds jacked up with sophistication, perhaps hence the name 'Beluga'... "It looks like Mr. Babicz, who hails from the Cologne region, is tuned in to the Audiomatique sound. 'Markatech' on the A-side is an absolute club monster, whilst 'Sleeping Beauty' comes along with a more relaxed and dreamy vibe. On the one hand, claps, hi-hats and acid bleeps push things forward, rave signals paired with seriously dark basslines, plus some of those unmistakable ingredients designed to drag you onto the dancefloor and propel you all the way to hysteria. Mood-wise, the flip side couldn't be more of a contrast. The ingredients may be fairly similar, but the composition is different. As titles go, 'Sleeping Beauty' is a pretty accurate title, hinting at the un-clubby, relaxed and peaceful atmosphere."

"Adjust your receivers for a special 'Tri-Band' submission on the latest Audiomatique release! Our sixteenth release features three fine artists with three extra-fine exclusive tracks. The highly talented Piet van Dongen opens up the fest. 'Short Term Satisfaction' kicks off with a rather sparse instrumentation, but soon builds up with interesting string sounds which seem to battle against one another. But the slightly dissonant chords work perfectly on a dry rhythmic construction, adding to the dark atmosphere of the track. Next up is another Dutch producer. "Woodenbox" on the B-side is as far out as the A-side, but a bit less dark. A cool sliding groove spreads a deep but slightly progressive feel. Two excellent tunes from Captain Martinez' spaceship -- now boarding.
