Refreshingly different from the common techno mainstream, Gabriel Ananda breaks hearing habits by using well-dosed, deep, structured sounds. Connoisseurs of the uncommon enjoy his straight and fiddly cool beats. Definitions become useless if techno, house and dub merge together as in Gabriel Ananda's productions. Since his first release in 1997 on the German label Hörspielmusik, by now over 20 singles on imprints like Trapez, Utils, Treibstoff, Platzhirsch and Karmarouge Records followed. Selected Techno Works is a collection of all of his floor-shakers that rocked the worldwide dancefloors during the last years and a "Chill Out" CD with previously-unreleased material for a laid-back time afterwards. "Every 2 or 3 years 50% of the people in the clubs change. I've been doing techno music since 1995 and I've seen a lot of people coming and going. So I thought, that if you're a tech-newbie, this CD might be for you to get to know my music. And for the people who are already inside or are about to leave, it's an opportunity to get a part of my work in one piece. For me personally, I made this CD because I wanted to have something in my suitcase to give back to the people who support me so much. The selection of the tracks are partly the ones I think most people like best and the other ones are my personal favorites. The Chill Out CD has been finished since 2005. Parallel to the release of his album Selected Techno Works (BASMATI 001CD), Gabriel Ananda presents his Live Series. Published here are the tracks which have been established on the floors during his recent live sets. Occasional imprecision is a stylistic device, the post-production was skipped, unpolished rough edges remain. Live Series Part I contains the tracks "Alpha" and "Smash." At least three more releases from this series will appear on Basmati.

Tiger Rose is the new project from Danish musical phenomenon and one-woman-electro-avantgarde-show, Alice Rose. Following three albums of dream pop released as Alice Rose, this debut under the Tiger Rose moniker finds her setting course for planet techno, working four-to-the-floor bass drum with enough space around it to make a cinematic playground for her musical imagination. Long-time collaborator Gabriel Ananda has his hands in the mix, bringing these techno tracks to life.

Short Story is the fruition of musical ideas by label owner/chief producer Gabriel Ananda and instrumentalist/vocalist Tiger Rose. The two of them have come together to resurrect a project from 2001 and have put together a colorful mix of strings, vocals, and melodies. "Short Stories" is a 14-minute trip covering the scope of both producers' talents. The B-side contains two versions of "Struck by Light." A techno version is followed by the deeper, original version, recorded for the first time in 2001.
