"After six months of cease-fire, the tech-electro mafia is back. In the meantime, they have rocked every single rave around Montpellier, Nîmes or Marseille. Their names might not sound that familiar to German ears, but Andre Dalcan, the man behind Scandium, and his buddy Greg are omnipresent in France and famous for their great tunes. Their numerous DJ gigs are the motor of their productions. Preferences for certain sounds are adapted and processed, and technical procedures up-dated. Whoever knows Delon & Dalcan's other records, will not be amazed that Tiefschwarz & Black Strobe again have spun off for this third release. But one thing really is striking: the merciless straightness. 'Panik' gets out the smart rubber mallet, 'Friend' however, is more minimal and laid-back, and both tracks prove that Delon & Delcan have come to the point and got the principle of cause and effect within all the cables and blanks. Well, big words for two extremely nice guys, and I will put these on the assay-balance at the jewellers later myself. The third track of the album, however, is perfect for lovers of Blackstrobe sounds. But now again in brief: Delon & Dalcan present us three straight French tracks with full synth power that can be matched with the crème-de-la-crème of the techno studios in France."

"Team 1: Hemmann & Kaden. Hemman & Kaden from the racing stable Freude am Tanzen / Musik Krause excel in perfect teamwork. Notebook-based and by systematic fine tuning, they have managed to present a dream start at the third grand prix de techno. Tuning is fun and that's why this track is called 'Bassboxer Mix.' Underneath, there is a mighty buzzing and above, there are smart hi-heads. In the second and third sector in particular, the duo shows the best lap time with merciless efficiency. The inevitable pit stop/break is professionally done in 9 seconds, drum roll inclusive. Go for it! Team 2: Patrick Chardronnet. Patrick, known for his races for Raum...Musik & Poker Flat, has become one of the top newcomers thanks to his most elegant driving style. This is the debut full-length release by French artists Delon & Dalcan (Greg Delon, André Dalcan) -- DJs, sound artists, organizers and mainstays of the Nîmes house scene. Tanz expresses the unusual symbiosis between these two men: the sound is full of warmth and full of grooves, in spite of its apparently technoid features.
