'I first used the Stare5 name on Felix Da Housekatt's techno label Clashbackk in 1996. Did 2 EPs, and the sound was heavily influenced by the stripped-down music of Rob Hood, Jeff Mills, DBX, G-Man and Basic Channel mixed with a little bit of the shuffling Chicago groove.'
Another Stare5 was released last year on Circle Music which was darker and more electro-ish. Now Stare5 is back mixing those old influences with the more recent sounds of today."
