As has the never-ending enthusiasm of those dirty, smelly San Fran folk who just love getting down to the booty-shaking, rump-rustling bass in Golden Gate Park. These are the same party people who don't give a damn about the next house fad or the next 'big DJ' playing in Ibiza. As CVS himself puts it.
'If the last album was 'Who's Afraid of Detroit', then this is clearly 'I Love San Francisco'.'
So what can u expect from
Bird Brain
? Well, he's taken the ready and rough edged sounds from the first album and sanded them smooth. But do not fear CVS lovers. The album is chock full of dirty, slutty, dank, funny and giggling cuts. Just with a smoother overall vibe. Less axe murdering breakdowns, but with all the quirky madness still intact. Lets call it 'VonStroke 2.0'. VonStroke and dirtybird have never been defined by genres. And with the current trend for chasing and recreating '90s deep house loops, many respected producers have been abandoning their creativity.

"Two hard driving remixes come in from the underground. The first remix is a slow burning techno gem by Jochen Trappe that has been absolutely slaying dance floors all across Europe. Jochen has 2 singles out on Connoisseur Records and was responsible for Claude's favorite track of 2005/6 called 'Organic.' The second mix comes from San Francisco producer Alland Byallo, who recently had a hot record called 'Buckets' on Germany's Liebe Detail imprint. Alland is a wicket techno producer as well as the promoter of [KONTROL], the best minimal techno night in the US. Worthy saw it painted on a fence somewhere and made a track about it. This could be a breakout year for Worthy who has already had multiple plays on Radio One of his 'Whistler' remix and 'That Funkin' Noise' from his digital label, Katabatic. 'Irst_te?' is bouncy and fun and it sounds kind of like it was inspired by the band in the original Star Wars with the alien clarinet players and the blue elephant on keys. Claude VonStroke takes it darker and more techno, with an epic sounding build that could fit into almost any set."
