The fourth CD to be released by Fasteau (with a slight re-arrangement of her name from Zusaan Kali), whose association with free music dates back to the historic Sea Ensemble's We Move Together, released by ESP in 1974. Here she performs on soprano sax, Ney flute, voice, cello and Sheng, along with a stellar line up of accompanists: Bobby Few & Sonelius Smith (piano), Noah Howard (alto sax), Joe McPhee (tenor sax), Warren Smith (drums), and Michael Wimberly on Djembe, talking drum and percussion. Half live, half studio, all recorded in 1997.

Supremely desirable archive double CD by the duo also known as the Sea Ensemble (their 1974 album, We Move Together was one of the great final gasps in the ESP Disk catalog). "Disc one of this archival double CD, entitled 'Streaming Love', was recorded to multitrack in Leiden, Holland in 1975. Disc two, entitled 'Come From Deep' was recorded live in Ankara, Turkey in 1977. Rafael Garrett plays contrabass, B flat clarinet, sol clarinet, shakuhachi, nai and kaval flutes, sheng, zurna, sanza, balfon, conch, voice, and percussion. Kali Fasteau plays piano, cello, nai, shakuhachi and kaval flutes, sol clarinet, cumbus tanbur, sheng, conch, sanza, & moursin and davul drums. The music on both discs totals 92 minutes. This is one of the few and best recorded examples of the artistry and genius of the late composer and multi-instrumentalist Donal Rafael Garrett, particularly in the context of the Sea Ensemble, his duo with his wife Kali Z. Fasteau. We are releasing this album as a tribute to Rafael, to share his musical genius with a wider audience."

Subtitled: New Orleans and the Hurricane 2005. "The title of this powerful new CD refers to the Ninth Ward of New Orleans, where Professor Jordan and his family have lived for many years, that was destroyed by the breaking of the levees the morning after Hurricane Katrina had passed over. People of the Ninth was recorded late night on September 25, 2005, soon after the hurricane and its terrible aftermath: the rescue denied, the separation of families, the continuing lethal racism of the power structure. During this session, Professor Jordan, on tenor saxophone, eloquently expresses this experience, and his transcendence of it through the alchemy of sound. Kali. Z. and Michael T.A. empathically commune with Professor Jordan in creating this release of original music. Kali. Z. has felt strong connections with New Orleans and Louisiana ever since she worked for C.O.R.E. (Congress of Racial Equality) on voter registration and community organization in New Orleans, Opelousas, Lafayette and Monroe, Louisiana in 1966. On this recording, she plays piano, cello, soprano saxophone, nai (oblique reed flute), and aquasonic (bowed metal jug). Percussionist Michael T.A.
