This is the debut album by former Ford model InLove, produced by DJ CAM. InLove was born and raised in Nigeria. She spent the first 15 years of her life under the influence of African vibes, music, rhythm and dance. That's where she heard her first reggae, soul and funk music, and that was her revelation -- she fell in love with this type of music and could not imagine living without it. She was 20 years old when she met the famous DJ CAM and they got along well enough to collaborate on DJ CAM's album Soulshine, including the hit track "Summer In Paris" (over 1 million singles sold). InLove became more and more requested for her own compositions and interpretations, and this is how she decided to work on her own album. Stories is the incarnation of her true personality: warm, sensual, deep, luminous, sunny and full of love. She is inspired by great artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Jill Scott, Sade, Dusty Springfield, Kelis, The Neptunes, Portishead, Estelle, and many others, and you can hear these influences in her sound. But there is also a trembling smokiness that is utterly unique, mixed with an effortless, laid-back soul -- frosty and warm at the same time.
