1999 CD compilation of the Main Street label's early 12" output, available again. A subsidiary label of the Basic Channel family of operations, this features tracks released over the years 1994 to 1999. Starting out with the most overtly Chicago House/garage influenced track (Andy Caine's "I'm Your Brother") ever produced by Basic Channel, this increasingly melts down into the the affiliated haze of Berlin's post-dub productions, with Tikiman joining on toasted vocals for the last six tracks. The lesser known compendium to the classic Basic Channel/Maurizio/Rhythm & Sound compilations.
