Artist: SCHNEIDER, ANJA
Title: Back To Back
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 2CD
Price: $20.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 001CD
Founded in 2005 by Anja Schneider, the young label Mobilee is proud to present its first compilation, and first-ever CD release. Back To Back collects nine of the label's best tracks on one disc, giving the turntable-impaired their first encounter with a catalog that vinyl-lovers have quickly come to treasure; on disc two, Schneider delivers a seamless mix of eight exclusive in-house remixes, all commissioned especially for this release and unavailable anywhere before now. Schneider is a Berlin-based multitasker, a talented musician, a sought-after club DJ, a well-known radio personality and the perfect curator and mixer of this compilation. CD1 easily captures every facet of the label, from Sebo K's track -- a timeless, deep house gem recalling Carl Craig -- to Pan-Pot's fidgety "P.O. Box" and "Black Widow," which prove that there's more to minimal than simple clickety-clack. Tracks from Exercise One, Sleeper Thief and GummiHz round out the collection of corkscrewing grooves, along with both sides of Anja Schneider's "Lily of the Valley"/"Addicted" single. Also, Schneider and Sebo K's club smash "Rancho Relaxo" is here in all its ragged glory. CD2 finds Exercise One tackling Sebo K's "Horizons," who in turn reworks GummiHz's "Isolate." GummiHz takes a scalpel to Schneider's "Addicted," then she has her way with Daniel Stefanik's anthem "The Bells," and Stefanik does his magic on Exercise One's "Debaya." Letting out their own inner ravers, Pan-Pot take on "Rancho Relaxo," and, in the only cameo appearance here, Jesse Rose puts his chunky house signature on Pan-Pot's "Black Dog." Finally, Prosumer gets the upper hand on Sebo K, recreating the latter's "Moved" in Prosumer's own image. And you thought the dude was just a singer -- think again. "Think again" might as well be Mobilee's motto, for the way the label lays bare the skeleton of rave music -- and the way it amplifies Berlin minimal into something throbbing, overwhelming, all-consuming. Watch your back: Mobilee is coming up from behind, and Back to Back is the rearview image of the shape of rave to come.

Artist: SEBO K
Title: Too Hot
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 001EP
Recent 2005 catalog from this new German label, referenced by Philip Sherburne as a "buy on sight" label. "Here comes Mobilee the new label by Berlin Fritz Radio impresario Anja Schneider. The first release is by long time production companion Sebo K., known for his many releases as Sebo or Sopa Fi on labels like Highgrade or Sonar Kollektiv. His A side mix is definitely 'Too Hot,' which is also Ewan Pearson's opinion who already has it on Random Play among others. A quirky thick basslined Dirt Crew-style full on groover, dry, kicking and effective with a great break. Flip over for Shyza Minelli's B side mix, Tuningspork styleee Acid research and check out Marco Palmieri and Terry-Ann Frencken from UND / Turin (Trapez), who contribute a fragile minimal funker with over dubbed female vox."

Artist: SEBO K
Title: Back Up Vol. 01
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: CD
Price: $15.50
Catalog #: MOBILEE 002CD
Berlin's Sebo K opens the new DJ-mix series on Mobilee -- Back Up Vol. 01, the first installment in an ongoing series of mixed CDs from the Berlin label. Mobilee mainstay Sebo K is the man behind the mix, and with his successful releases on Mobilee, remixes on Pokerflat and his latest EP on Get Physical, he is in demand on the international dance scene. In its two dozen releases so far, Mobilee has earned a rep as one of minimal music's most forward-thinking labels, thanks to a consistently crystalline palette and an unwavering attention to the groove. But a deeper, housier impulse has lurked in the shadows, coming to the surface particularly in tracks like Sebo K's "Moved," featuring Prosumer, and that's the vibe that Sebo K explores on this compilation. Rich with resonant strings, pumping keys and unforgettable vocals, the mix deftly bridges the worlds of European techno and classic, Afro-American house music. With attention-grabbing cuts like Efdemin's "Just A Track," Ray Valioso's "Got The Strings" and Larry Heard Presents Mr. White's heartrending "The Sun Can't Compare" scattered throughout, the mix jumps from peak to emotional peak, using more psychotropic transitions like Minilogue's "Elephant Parade" or GummiHz's "Isolate (Sebo K Remix)" as wormholes to shuttle you through the depths. Back Up Vol. 01 confirms Sebo K's reputation as a selector of the first order, and it's just the beginning of what looks to be a very good year for him. Back up, get down, move forward: Sebo K is going places. Other artists include: Kerry Chandler, Sascha Dive, John Daly, Jimpster, Kevin Gorman, Alex Under, Pier Bucci, Samim, Marco Resmann, Ferrer & Sydenham Inc. and Amé.

Artist: PAN-POT
Title: Popy & Caste
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 002EP
"Two years ago three ambitious students met at SAE in Berlin and started to share their love for minimal techno, house grooves and artificial sounds. Passionate DJ Tassilo Ippenberger (Tas Toyo) and former cook Thomas Benedix also started to throw their own parties where one night Marco Resmann aka DJ Phage plays a set. Together with Marco's longterm friend Arne Ziemann all of them got down in the studio one day and found the Pan-Pot project as perfect symbiosis of four ambitious, passionate electronic music lovers. Throwing their huge variety and their audio engineering background together they quickly found their own groove strongly influenced by the origins of house and the omnipresent minimal techno sound of today and present it on their first outing ever."

Artist: PAN-POT
Title: Pan-O-Rama
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: CD
Price: $15.50
Catalog #: MOBILEE 003CD
A little less than two and a half years after its conception and close to 30 singles, one compilation, one mix CD and one sub-label later, Berlin's Mobilee releases its first artist album. Naturally, who better to represent the milestone than Pan-Pot, who so far have delivered five essential singles to Mobilee, helping to anchor the ever-shifting sound of one of Europe's most exciting labels. Pan-Pot is the duo of Tassilo Ippenberger and Thomas Benedix, and Pan-O-Rama finds the boys stretching their sound in every possible direction: twisting, tearing, and using the shreds to drag a wide swath of techno history into the future (and, just maybe, to drag a few pieces of techno future back into the past). Call it "minimal" if you must, but this ain't no clickity-clack shit. You can hear the agonized gurgle of isolationist acid, reminiscent of Plastikman's darkest nights. You can hear the percolating urgency of classic bleep techno. Tried and true hardware collides with restless digital experimentation as dance music's DNA worms its way into twisted new shapes. Eerie vocals that seem to come from within the listener's own head creep across the stereo field, restrained minor-key melodies conjure 21st century Noir, and a relentless low-end rumble seems to suck up all the light around it. But Pan-Pot never lose their grip on the groove, again and again coming up with supple, subtly morphing beats capable of animating dancefloors. And even with a sense of dread lurking in the shadows behind every handclap, there's light at the end of the tunnel: "Faces," featuring the deep house producer Vincenzo, sparkles with distant bell tones before opening up into a luscious interlude overlaid with delicate piano chords. This is body music, head music, dark night of the soul music.

Title: Side Leaps
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 003EP
"Anja Schneider and Sebo K finally throw down a joint venture for Mobileé records. Sebo K had already helped to kick-start the label by providing its first release which got a massive worldwide response. Now this doubleheader demonstrates a perfect amalgamation of solid producer work and playfulness. 'Rancho Relaxo' invites you on a warm journey towards sunrise and 'Side Leaps' makes a dangerously beautiful jump over the edge of the turntables incorporating the full range of music both are game to do."

Artist: GUMMIHZ
Title: Back To Back Vol. Two
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 2CD
Price: $21.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 004CD
Mobilee presents the second installment of its compilation and DJ mix series. Back To Back Vol. Two is a two-pronged probe at the heart of the Mobilee aesthetic: CD1 is an unmixed disc of essential selections from the label, all appearing for the first time on CD, while CD2 takes the listener on a DJ's guided tour of the catalog in its living, breathing, electrifying flux. If you still think of Mobilee as simply a "minimal" label, then CD1 should change your mind. Opening with Pan-Pot featuring Vicenzo's lush, piano-led "Faces," the disc presents the label at its most melodic. Most of the tracks are from 2008, but not all: Sebo K's now-classic "Too Hot" comes from the very first Mobilee 12", and is finally available for the vinyl-impaired. Other highlights include label-head Anja Schneider's liquid and hypnotic "Belize," Sleeper Thief's heart-rendingly deep "Cenotes," Marc Antona's caffeinated and off-kilter "One More Sugar," Marco Resmann's haunted "Gouache," and Jennifer Cardini's restrained (yet raving) "August In Paris." Rounding out this impeccable collection, are two exclusive tracks from GummiHz, presented here for the first time in any format. GummiHz -- aka London-based Alexander Tsotsos -- takes the reins on CD2, delivering a seductive mix of no fewer than 27 tracks from Mobilee's catalog, all re-edited and re-combined into a single session that positively ripples with energy. Some edits were made in Logic, but for spontaneity's sake, the mix was performed in real-time in Ableton Live. Even serious collectors of Mobilee have never heard these cuts played quite like this, making Back To Back Vol. Two an essential purchase for long-time fans and new listeners alike. If CD1 shows a more sensitive side of the label, CD2 presents Mobilee at its most muscular. Clockwork polyrhythms, spellbinding sequences, psychoactive leads, riveting riffs, and washes of background ambience swirl together into a streamlined groove machine. A very special mix, for a very special label. Other artists include: Exercise One, Duplex 100, Prosumer, Magda and Marcin Czubala.

Artist: EXERCISE ONE
Title: Easy Things (Duplex 100 Remix)
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 004EP
"Exercise One's track 'Easy Things' is surprisingly melodic, impressing by its hypnotic bass line it takes the listener away into a bittersweet world where we can follow the Easy Way Of Life and forget about time. 'Easy Things' was remixed by Duplex 100 a.k.a. Phil Stumpf and Reynold who exactly hit the pulse of time and deliver the new definition of minimalism we've all been waiting for, delighting us to the point we cheer. With 'Steady Pulse,' Exercise One take us back to reality and give a conclusion of their musical understanding of straight techno."

Artist: STEFANIK/PAN-POT, DANIEL
Title: The Bells/Black Currant
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 005+EP
"This is an Add-On release to Pan-Pot's Obscenity EP. We got this great track from Daniel Stefanik and had one Pan-Pot track left that belongs to the Obscenity Theme. Therefore you get this Special Extra EP. It's limited! Moon Harbour's Daniel Stefanik presents 'The Bells' on Mobilee records. It's another kind of sound that you are used to while listening to his great Moon Harbour Releases. Let's call it 'Alte Schule'! Pumpin with a lot of Detroit Energy. Maybe some Chicago ingredients... In the end it's Leipzig style... Pan-Pot has a huge output. 'Black Currant' is a slow motion minimal stomper. Hear it loud first and then play it loud at peak time on a Japanese mega rave and send us your feedback! Have fun with Mobilee005plus."

Artist: SCHNEIDER, ANJA
Title: Beyond The Valley
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: CD
Price: $17.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 005CD
This is the debut full-length from Berlin-based Anja Schneider, founder of the Mobilee label, respected DJ and radio personality. Touring ceaselessly, Anja has travelled the globe, bringing the Mobilee vibe to clubbers around the world -- now she invites us to travel with her to an unfamiliar setting, Beyond The Valley. Co-produced with Paul Brtschitsch -- with whom she collaborated on the stunning 12" Loop de Mer -- Beyond The Valley is more than a collection of tracks, it's a rich, nuanced statement from an artist ready to open up new worlds and enchanted places where the old rules no longer apply. Titles like "Safari" and "Belize" suggest exoticism, but it goes beyond that: the record harnesses the spooky unknowing of the Brothers Grimm, Pan's Labyrinth, Little Red Riding Hood -- sounding not unlike what modern, city-dwelling mortals know as nightlife, a scene we recreate every weekend, with subwoofers instead of tunneling burrows and with waving arms rather than tree branches. Anja brings that pagan spirit to life in 10 inky, supple cuts. "Mole" sets the tone with tribal drums and snaky reverb trails. Guiros croak like frogs and flashes of melody dart away like salamanders. "Get Away" tiptoes into the shadows in the same way that a good DJ teases her audience over to the other side. But, there's plenty of abandon here as well: check "Little Red Riding Hood," with its urgent, cresting build-ups, or the starry-eyed submission of "Belize," which stakes out a jungle clearing where dancers revel until dawn. The bobbing "Fish At Night" wraps up the album with a new musical direction for Anja, where dubby half-stepping meets bubbling chords in the weightlessness of the deep. The album's title track represents its spiritual heart, where suave timbres temper the unremitting tension, and electronic frequencies fuse with the music of the human voice. Creeping forward on animal paws, you'd have to call it "jungle music," if the name weren't already taken. Whatever you make of this record -- as a sophisticated form of primitivism, or an ascendance of the animal inside all of us -- is up to you.

Artist: PAN-POT
Title: Obscenity EP
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 005EP
"Pan-Pot are at the time without a doubt the freshest producers and DJs from Berlin. Since their first release Popy & Caste on Mobilee the three guys earned a lot of attention. We are happy to present their second EP Obscenity on Mobilee which is a real minimal monster for the clubfloor. With their new tracks 'Randy Ho' and 'P.O Box' the virtuosos of sound will show us how warm wintertime could be. You'll love the basslines, which will leave you open-mouthed on the dancefloor. The release has the feeling of an early morning -- very dewy and so fresh. Call it minimal, call it crisp and cool, call it whatever you like. For us it's the untouchable Pan-Pot style from the heart of Berlin's underground."

Artist: CZUBALA, MARCIN
Title: Chronicles Of Never
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: CD
Price: $17.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 006CD
Poland's Marcin Czubala presents Chronicles Of Never, his first full-length for Mobilee and his first full-length since 2001, despite dozens of singles over the years. This is not just a collection of dance tunes, these tracks all flow together like the colors of the spectrum, twisting and turning as imperceptibly as the moments of a long night out. Certain sounds and motifs occur and re-occur -- muted hand drums, faraway voices, gleaming keyboards and dusty syncopations. But despite a certain consistency of mood -- there's something hushed about Marcin's music, even at its most intense. Every track invents its own world and operates according to its own logic. Not the logic of the club, or much less the logic of "minimal," but a unique ecology of sounds adapted specifically to their environment. "Daybreak" incorporates silken, luminous tones and a teasing set of chords; unfolding slowly and inexorably. "Berolina" is all stoned seduction and weightlessness, full of contorted arpeggios, bubbly percussion, and a sexy female voice. "Los Compañeros," inspired by Marcin's first tour of Mexico, is one of the album's stand-out club tracks, propelled by economical percussion and insistent, looped vocals; halfway through, queasy keyboards fill the soundfield, making this one of the eeriest club hits of the year. "Pravda" is more upbeat, full of bright, glassy percussion with just the right degree of swing. "Alibi Room" is a place where fantastic narratives are spun, where reality is turned inside out -- a dryly percussive intro features an acoustic bass that roams freely in a kind of reverie. "Dazed & Confused" is a savvy exercise in focused, minimalist funk, with lots of tiny acoustic drum samples. "Spectacles For Humans" includes jewel-like synthesizer tones and echoes of Detroit. "30 May 2007" is on the surface a celebratory track -- but odd detunings and frantic arpeggios suggest unease. "At The Beach In San Foca" is a slow, controlled burn that periodically flares up in the form of muted horns and panned, echoing voices. Sweeping filters and syncopated piano chords push the track ever forward, while a deep sub-bass grounds it firmly in the now. Finally, "Be Water" slows down and practices what it preaches, sending sampled percussion and xylophone tones into a winding current that's tugged at by eddying chords. Chronicles Of Never is the chronicle of an imaginary place.

Title: Rmxs By Magda, M.I.A., Jennifer Cardini
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 006EP
Remixes by Magda, M.I.A. & Jennifer Cardini! "Mobilee is starting 2006 with guest appearances by three amazing female DJs and producers. Anja Schneider invited them to do remixes for the most successful Mobilee release, yet. 'The Original' by Sebo K & Anja Schneider. First up on twisting 'Side Leaps' is Magda -- part of the Minus crew and travelling all around the world representing her very own understanding of groovy minimalism. Magda is without a doubt the main influence of 'the new minimal school.' Substatic's M.I.A. added another interpretation of side leaps. M.I.A.'s 'Pssst...' Remix is separated in two different parts building up a massive dark dancefloor track as we know it from her very unique DJ-sets and own productions. Jennifer Cardini & Shonky touched Rancho Relaxo and added another kind of energy to this great track. Jennifer is one of the DJ-shooting stars in 2005."

Artist: SEBO K
Title: Horizons/Moved
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 007EP
"Mobilee presents new stuff from Sebo K. With his first release in 2006 he opens up a new horizon for the Mobilee sound lab. Sebo K's releases so far have always reached next steps and have been groundbreaking. Sebo K is responsible for the most successful Mobilee release Rancho Relaxo in collaboration with Anja Schneider. Be prepared for Horizons and Moved Feat. Prosumer. Some more powerful tracks from Berlin's finest Sebo K. 'Horizons' is a straight forward goin' up groove monster with a perfect arrangement. Just plug and play! 'Moved' Feat. Prosumer shows another side of Sebo K's creativity. With the lyrics and vocals of Prosumer he creates a deep and seducing house tune. It reminds us a little bit of what, again? We waited too long for a contemporary re-interpretation of dubby sounds! A new sound colour for Mobilee and a helpful track for the sexy DJs of you."

Artist: NHAR
Title: Hexoflip
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 008EP
"Mobilee presents Nhar from France. Together with Kevin Scherschel, he founded the 22 Crew project and they released two EPs ('Rikarbière' EP and 'Clarke' EP) on the supersmart imprint from Marseille, Modelisme Records. In collaboration with Jennifer Cardini the 22 Crew has also produced a remix for the globally active DJ Electric Indigo on her own label Indigo-Inc and the 'Egal' EP on Berlin's Dirt Crew Recordings. His new EP 'Hexoflip' on Mobilee Records is a mix between low minimal wounded grooves and abstract melancholic sounds with groovy funky tech/house sequences. Nhar always aims on the hypnotic moments in music and plays some tricks on your mind."

Artist: GUMMIHZ
Title: Select & Bounce
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 009EP
"London based GummiHz a.k.a Alexander Tsotsos of Greek origin, started a long-term relationship with electronic music as a DJ in 1994. For the last four years he has been producing tracks to incorporate his own ideas to offer a more unique sound to his DJ-sets and also to perform live. Alex has a passion for producing elastic/rubbery frequencies for bodies to respond to, hence the nickname of GummiHz. Main influences are the minimal house and techno scenes of the past, the present and the future. He is part of the fast growing minimal scene around Argy, Ed Davenport and some more talented musicians from London. The A-Side track 'Isolate' is a percussive minimal groove monster, opening up the mouth with a radiation emergency rave signal from time to time. Dangerous! 'A.A.K.N.Y.' on the other side has a similar concept with a lot of tension build ups and releases in its layers."

Artist: SCHNEIDER, ANJA
Title: Lily of the Valley
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 010EP
"Mobilee's tenth release produced by the label's boss-lady Anja Schneider. The EP Lily Of The Valley is a celebration not only of the 10th release, but also a dedication to the loveliness of springtime. The EP is the first solo release on Anja's own label following the success of her collaboration wi th Sebo K. -- 'Rancho Relaxo.' Meanwhile, Anja kept herself busy with remixes for Tsuba Records and Steve Bug's Dessous Recordings until this EP and spring arrived. On both remixes and this solo debut she worked together with Marco Resmann (Luna City Express, Phage, Pan-Pot) at Berlin's very productive Audiogain Studios. A1 -- 'Lily Of The Valley' is inspired by the first sunrays of the spring season. It's a weird percussive track morphing in different directions without leaving the groove. B1 -- 'Addicted' is a deep and sexy minimal track that easily lends itself to a hypnotic state. This funky groove is pieced with a reduced vocal that leads to a spherical and mystic atmosphere."

Artist: EXERCISE ONE
Title: Debaya
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 011EP
"It's the secnd relase on Mobilee for the two beat wizards 'M Freebird' and 'Gansera' better known as Exercise One. 'Debaya' and 'Flight Cancel Led' hit the dancefloor with deep bass and heavy synth lines, dark melodic parts and euphoric breaks. Exercise One doesn't like the -- nowadays very popular -- copy and paste production style. Both tracks are tested during live gigs all over Europe. From the moment Exercise One appears on the stage they catch the audience. This is what the new 12" is made from. Less blubby minimal more dancy techno. Another highlight in the last few month beside their own label work on Lan Muzic was a remix production for Sweet n' Candy on Jeremy P. Caulfield's Dumb Unit imprint."

Artist: PAN-POT
Title: Black Lodge
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 012EP
"The Black Lodge is known as the extradimensional mystery place in David Lynch's Twin Peaks. We don't want to know Pan-Pot's exact relationship to Laura Palmer -- but the new Mobilee release contains two extradimensional tracks that contain countless rooms with endless sound creations. It's the third Pan-Pot Release on Mobilee and it seems that the boys are on the mission to create their very own shelf in the minimal techno circus. A1 - 'Black Dog' is produced by Marco Resmann, Tassilo Ippenberger and Thomas Benedix. B1 - 'Black Widow' is produced by Pan-Pot's Tassilo & Thomas. 'Black Widow' is a very playful track with a lot of changes in different directions. The Widow is spinning it's small net bouncing from one end to the other. The atmospheric final is the most beautiful sound landscape we have heard in the last time. For those who know -- only a very famous musician from Detroit could have done it better."

Artist: GUMMIHZ
Title: Modern Dynamic
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 013EP
"GummiHz's second release on Mobilee comes straight from the bottom of his heart. The Concept of Modern Dynamic is based on developing grooves by manipulating the dynamics of a sound, rather than composing melodies. A1. 'Gomma Elastica' consists of a steady groove with a few surprises taking place in the sonic spectrum and a dominating FM tone evolving throughout the arrangement. It is the kind of tune that delivers pure freakness on the dance floor. B1. 'The First Time' is set in a deeper atmosphere with a sweet electric piano groove appearing in the end, reminiscent of the starting time of deep house. Agony develops during the first minutes of the track, leading to a relaxed groove in theme with the sweet summer breeze."

Artist: SLEEPER THIEF
Title: Chasing You
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 014EP
"Sleeper Thief is based in London, UK. It is a collaboration between Miss Jools and Audiofly, who have come together to create a new sound, based on their differing musical backgrounds and influences. Miss Jools is not only a well known DJ figure on the underground scene, but is also the co-founder of Clandestino, London's most infamous Sunday night affair. Audiofly have been steadily carving themselves out a niche as producers and DJs over the last couple of years. Recently they have been pushing a more underground sound in various disguises (& collaborations), with some original productions for the likes of Maschine and Connaisseur Recordings and remixes for artists such as Claude Von Stroke and Gus Gus to name a couple. Their first release, the Freeride EP (64 Records) gained instant notoriety on the underground. They followed the success with their first release with 2 remixes, one for the same label, for CCCP called 'Cosmodrome Baikanur,' and another for Phonique, called 'What I Fake,' which will be released on Tiefschwarz's new label, Souvenir. The Chasing You EP is deep and musical, with powerful rhythmic structures. Solid beats and basslines, against a backdrop of spacious melodies is the Sleeper Thief sound, and this formula will see them go from strength to strength in the months to come."

Title: Back To Back Remix Series Vol. 01
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 015EP
"Mobilee is on 'Back to Back' mission and presents the first release of a four-piece vinyl remix series including eight exclusive in-house remixes. A: Sebo K reworks GummiHz's 'Isolate.' He just took the essential 'rave signal,' modified the groove and added some special effects. The most reduced Sebo K production so far. AA: Prosumer gets the upper hand on Sebo K, recreating the latter's 'Moved (featuring Prosumer)' in Prosumer's own image. And you thought dude was just a singer -- think again. 'Think again' might as well be Mobilee's motto, for the way the label lays bare the skeleton of rave music -- and the way it amplifies Berlin minimal into something throbbing, overwhelming, all-consuming. Watch your back: Mobilee is coming up from behind, and 'Back to Back' is the rearview image of the shape of rave to come."

The Pan-Pot producer team claim their territories once again with a funky tune. A2: GummiHz take a scalpel to Schneider's "Addicted." His remix is laid back in a way but rollin' and bouncin'. Title: Back to Back Remix Series Vol. 03
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 017EP
"In the only cameo appearance here, London's Jesse Rose (Dubsided) puts his chunky house signature on Pan-Pot's 'Black Dog.' Buy one get one for free is our offer on Side A. The Pots & Pans Edit is a bit more reduced. It's the typical Jesse Rose Dub Edit style. Sebo K -- 'Horizons' Exercise One's Sleepless In San Juan Mix: Exercise One tackles Sebo K's 'Horizons' and deliver another functional rave anthem. The remix is mainly influenced by their legendary live gig at this year's Mobilee Sonar party at Raum. They started doing this remix at Exercise One's private afterhour in the Mobilee apartments at Paseo San Juan."

Title: Back to Back Remix Series Vol. 04
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 018EP
The last chapter of a four-piece vinyl remix series including eight exclusive in-house remixes. The chapter is closed by the label boss herself. Anja Schneider has her way with Daniel Stefanik's anthem "The Bells." This tune develops a lot of energy without opening all the floodgates. And Stefanik -- not to be bested -- does his magic on Exercise One's "Debaya." Mobilee seems to be Daniel's field for rave experiments. You will never guess what happens in the final sequence while listening to the first seconds of this track. Another old school lesson from a new school producer.

Artist: CZUBALA, MARCIN
Title: Super Constellation
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00

Between 1991-1994 Czubala performed over 300 classical music concerts at big events such as Nantes Festival (France), Warsaw Autumn (Poland), Singapore International Festival (Singapore) and performed with experimental music legend Krzysztof Penderecki in 1992. He released a lot of music in the '90s and was an important part of the Polish underground scene, with huge international response for his works. He is inspired by the sound of today and has concentrated all his knowledge and production skills on this new release. Super Constellation has a lot of old school flavor and an unstoppable groove with lots of sci-fi effects and complex arrangements.

Marco Resmann is a multi-talented producer and is also known as Phage on labels like Klang, Highgrade and Sender, and as Luna City Express on Moon Harbour. Following in the footsteps of Marc Chagall and Henry Matisse, "Gouache" and "Tempera" paint complex pieces of music that fit perfectly into worldwide club interiors.

Artist: GUMMIHZ
Title: Bar Loca EP
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 022EP
This is Greek artist Alex Tsotsos' third release on Mobilee, and Bar Loca EP is the first time 4 tracks have appeared on a Mobilee 12". As Gummihz, he keeps his concept of unnatural bouncing, twisting and elastic groove patterns alive, delivering some booty shaking frequencies. "Temptation" is a layered atmospheric piece of music with a steady, tight drum arrangement. "A Casa" is a simple groove with a dominant sub melody. "Los Los" has an energetic groove and a synth line that pays tribute to an older Detroit sound. "Twisted" is a sublimely moody groove -- the perfect tool for the dancefloor.

Artist: PAN-POT
Title: What Is What
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 023EP

Artist: EXERCISE ONE
Title: Dark Star/Melting
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 024EP
Exercise One came off of a giant tour, so Mobilee decided to press the most successful and euphoric tracks of their live set on vinyl. "Dark Star" and "Melting" are deep techno tracks with the typical Exercise One flavor. Two rollin' and groovin' intelligent bombs blowing up unstable planets. John Carpenter would love these tracks, for sure.

Artist: CZUBALA, MARCIN
Title: The Octopus
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 025EP
The virtuoso producer Marcin Czubala from Poznan is back on Mobilee with a musical offering you can't refuse. He once again delivers the same groovy and unique Czubala quality with a theme inspired by Italian mafia movies from the late '70s. Wear a bullet-proof vest -- Mario Puzo would love this music.

Artist: SCHNEIDER, ANJA
Title: Loop De Mer/Belize
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 026EP
Anja Schneider's Loop De Mer features heady, trippy tracks -- eyes and ears blown wide open by impossible contours and unknown pleasures. This release also represents her first co-production with Paul Brtschitsch. In keeping with her previous work, both tracks are dark, sultry and eerie. Energy ripples beneath the surface and contrasyncopations build into a furious tidal swell; hissing ride cymbals cut through the murk like a flash of shark fins. Nimble, shuffling house skips and an irresistible melody swirls like dandelion tufts on the last days of summer, punctuated by emphatic toms -- heavy with the knowledge that all vacations must end.

Artist: ANTONA, MARC
Title: One More Sugar
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 027EP
Marc Antona makes his Mobilee debut with well-oiled rhythms, delicate pings and sub-bass that will knock you off your feet. "One More Sugar" rides along a loose-limbed groove splashed with bright arpeggios that rain down like liquid diamonds. "Fast Cats No Fat" follows a similar trajectory, but feels more tentative while unflagging drum programming keeps washes of white noise at bay. "Pelouse Interdite" isn't exactly acid -- it's more like the foam that's been skimmed off a hissing cup of the stuff. With all controls set to "perpetual motion," it's a no-nonsense groover that brings a sense of the unknown to any set.

Artist: SLEEPER THIEF
Title: Cenotes
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 028EP
Sleeper Thief are back with another creepy-crawly two-tracker that's got thrills and chills to spare. Sleeper Thief are Audiofly and Miss Jools, and their style is a mixture of close-to-the-ground suspense and high-stepping drama. "Cenotes" takes its title from the limestone sinkholes that the Maya used for religious rituals. Accordingly, the track is as humid and exotic as the jungles of the Yucatán, complete with the synthesized cries of forest beasts and hazy chords. "Vaja Te Suba Te" is a 9-minute blast of percolating percussion, swirling bleeps and slippery sheets of oily reverb. Flashing little melodic winks glint beneath the blurred motion -- it's horrorcore with a happy face.

Artist: PAN-POT
Title: Pan-O-Rama
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 2LP
Price: $18.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 029LP
Double LP version. This is body music, head music, dark night of the soul music.

Artist: PAN-POT FEAT. HUGH BETCHA
Title: Charly
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 030EP
Pan-Pot have so far delivered five essential singles to Mobilee, helping to anchor the ever-shifting sound of the label. "Charly" is a taste of the Pan-O-Rama full-length on Mobilee, augmented by a pumping Anja Schneider remix.

Artist: GUMMIHZ
Title: Mind Games
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 031EP
"Desire" sounds dark in the hands of GummiHz aka Alexander Tsotsos. As restrained as ever, GummiHz lets the tension build while static rustles in the underbrush. A gravelly voice mutters "desire" over and over, and it's clear that this is a psychodrama of the bleakest kind. "Hypnotize" bases a menacing melody on the tritone (aka the "devil's interval"), but a nimble bass line and a sprightly beat counterbalance the creepy-crawly high end. Keep your eyes on the pendulum and let go.

Artist: PAN-POT
Title: The Remixes
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 037EP
Marco Resmann and Zander VT each perform their own magic on two killer cuts by Pan-Pot. Resmann's rework of "Ape Will Never Kill Ape" is a perfect fusion of Pan-Pot's shadowy, percussive style and Resmann's own sensuous, darkside sensibility. Zander VT turn their attentions to "Crank." The original was a nervous, metallic groover, but Zander VT amp up on the anti-anxiety meds to deliver a version that's looser and more upbeat.

Artist: SCHNEIDER, ANJA
Title: Beyond The Valley
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 2LP
Price: $18.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 038LP
Double LP version.

Artist: GUMMIHZ
Title: Under The Sun
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 039EP
This is GummiHz's fifth EP for Mobilee. Under The Sun rapidly draws you in with ceremonial beats and hidden hypnotic layers that slowly rise to the surface. Innocent, yet quite provocative, "Under The Sun" will bring audiences to an emotional peak on the dancefloor. "You And Me" (feat. Ruxsandra) features a more rhythmic composition. A female presence impels the audience to the dancefloor with swaying hips. A sensual, slightly dark and minimal arrangement with a dynamic organ thrust.

Artist: GABRIEL, RUSS
Title: The Fall Guy
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 040EP
Mobilee welcomes a techno veteran to the fold, Russ Gabriel: since 1993, he and his Ferox label have helped define the sound of UK techno, merging elements from Detroit and Chicago into a sound that stands on its own. "React" opens with softly pumping chords and handclaps cloaked in faraway reverb and minor-key detailing that creeps in from the corners like spiders. "The Fall Guy" plays with cotton-y chords, gentle syncopations, and gauzy filters that stretch out and take time.

Artist: CZUBALA, MARCIN
Title: Berolina
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 041EP
Berolina is the fourth single from Marcin Czubala and also a teaser for his album Chronicles Of Never. Backed by a remix from Russ Gabriel, it's a diverse and devastating two-track package. All the Czubala signature elements are here: bumping drums, samples, pinprick tones, deep, steady bass and mutating sounds. Gabriel turns the original into a muscular groove marked with bell tones and warm stabs. His approach is deeply funky and goes straight to the heart of the dancefloor.

Title: Chronicles Of Never
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 2x12"
Price: $20.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 042LP
2x12" version. "Dazed And Confused" is a savvy exercise in focused, minimalist funk, with lots of tiny acoustic drum samples. "Spectacles For Human" includes jewel-like synthesizer tones and echoes of Detroit. "30 May" is on the surface a celebratory track -- but odd detunings and frantic arpeggios suggest unease. "At The Beach In San Foca" is a slow, controlled burn that periodically flares up in the form of muted horns and panned, echoing voices. Sweeping filters and syncopated piano chords push the track ever forward, while a deep sub-bass grounds it firmly in the now. Chronicles Of Never is the chronicle of an imaginary place.

Artist: SEBO K
Title: Diva
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 043EP
One-sided 12". Berlin's Sebo K presents "Diva," a track so deep, it doesn't need a B-side. Don't let the title scare you: there are no wailing divas here, no garish melodies. Just a brief vocal sample looped throughout the mix -- a high voltage call-and-response that sends sparks flying at just the right moments. As for the production, control is the watchword: unadorned drum machines do a lithe, high-stepping forward-march while cool, syncopated chords bounce in place.

Artist: ANTONA, MARC
Title: Simple Venus
Label: MOBILEE (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: MOBILEE 044EP
Simple Venus is Marc Antona's second release on Mobilee. The title track is simple and complex with smooth surfaces and solid beats. Listen deeper and you'll find yourself in a world of sulphuric acid movements and soft carbon rhythms. "Give Me Flowers" dictates its path with intervals of sequential rhythmic intensity. This number progresses slowly, collecting sounds of perfectly-timed chimes, synergistic pings and various alphabetical lines, spelling only a bouquet of organic movements.
