Artist: SCHIMPFLUCH COMMUNE INT.
Title: Schimpfluch Commune Int.
Label: NIHILIST RECORDS
Format: CD
Price: $15.00
Catalog #: NIHIL 050.1CD
"Schimpfluch Commune Int. is an aktionist group formed in Zurich, Switzerland in 1987, focusing on psycho-acoustic exercises for audiences and recording. Comprised of Dave Phillips (ex Fear of God), Joke Lanz (aka Sudden Infant) & Rudolf Eb.er (aka Runzelstirn & Gurgelstock) this super group of sorts, has been creating the most challenging music and performances for over two decades. This CD is excerpted from the Schimpfluch Commune Int. 20th Anniversary box set (Nihil 50) released in an edition of a mere 100 copies, which sold out before its release date in pre-orders. It was later decided that this material needed to be made available to a larger audience, hence the Nihil 50.1 CD edition. The box set was a solo cassette of Joke Lanz and another by Dave Phillips. These were then remixed and reconstructed by Rudolf Eb.er as an accompanying CD to round out the release. This CD portion is what appears on the nihil 50.1 version in its entirety. The sounds on this disc are of a rather horrific & disturbing nature, to be acquired with due caution! Nihilist Records takes no responsibility for any psychological damage or resultant effects whatsoever incurred from either misuse or repeated listenings of this disc."

Artist: IRR.APP.(EXT.)/PANICSVILLE
Title: Split
Label: NIHILIST RECORDS
Format: LP
Price: $19.00
Catalog #: NIHIL 054LP
"Irr. App. (Ext.) is one Matt Waldron, writer, artist and composer. More recognizable, as of late, due to his working with the legendary experimental group Nurse With Wound, both in the studio and live. On his own, Waldron creates eerie and haunting layered soundscapes of a nightmarish realm. His track here, 'While Unconscious In Compost I Was Temporarily a Motile Vesicular Cluster' is a side-long aural hallucination both dark and beautiful. Panicsville is the long running (16 years) transgressive noise group headed by Andy Ortmann. Known for their extreme and absurdist performances and releases, Panicsville illustrate skills unparalleled in the experimental genre with this new record. A collage of field recordings, horror movie synthesizers, and other various instruments combine to a unique brand of musique concrète, that only Panicsville is known for. 'As I Awoke My Body Was Melting' is an epic side-long track that is graphically depicted by the artwork of an oozing head of entrails. This LP is a limited edition of 500 copies on 140 gram marbled green vinyl."

Artist: OAKEATER
Title: Molech
Label: NIHILIST RECORDS
Format: LP
Price: $19.00
Catalog #: NIHIL 055LP
"Oakeater is a trio that is equal parts ritual ambient, black metal, industrial noise and demi-spell casting. Oakeater is comprised of Seth (Coughs, Panicsville), Jeremy (Panicsville) and Alex (Ex-Bret Gand is Dead) and had formed sometime in 2006. Molech is Oakeater's debut vinyl release, following up a handful of limited cassettes, which will certainly garner them the attention, respect and success that they deserve."

Artist: DRUMM & JOHN WIESE, KEVIN
Title: Untitled
Label: NIHILIST RECORDS
Format: LP
Price: $23.00
Catalog #: NIHIL 063LP
"Very long-awaited collaborative record by two fellows that need no introduction. Mania-inducing heavy waves of suffocating bass frequencies with ripping and tearing, hissing and speaker-destroying hell-storm. Recorded in Chicago in 2006, cover art by Alex Decarli. Pro-pressed covers pressed on black vinyl. 500 copies."

Artist: RAGLANI/OUTER SPACE
Title: Split LP
Label: NIHILIST RECORDS
Format: LP
Price: $21.00
Catalog #: NIHIL 067LP
"An incredible journey into the inner-space of analog synthesis. Soothing, pleasant, hypnotic and manic are thoughts of the day. This cosmic oozing mess of layered sequencers as swirling syrupy frequencies come raining down. Raglani serves up some sickly sweet synthy songs and Outer Space forge a thick gooey side long track of psychedelic electronic mind muck. John is in another band called Emeralds. Guest appearance by C.Spencer Yeh on Raglani's 'Heart Of Glass' adding a slice of nice on the violin. Artwork and layout by Jeremy Kannapell. Edition of 500 copies in pro-press full color jackets and insert. For fans of early Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk & Nik Pascal."

Artist: ORTMANN, ANDY
Title: Octagonist
Label: NIHILIST RECORDS
Format: DVD-AUDIO
Price: $16.00
Catalog #: NIHIL 088DVD
"Octagonist is the follow up album to Ortmann's critically-acclaimed Nightmania album. Taking it to the next level, Ortmann continues to pioneer the avant garde genre with this surround sound album (partially funded by an arts grant from the city of Chicago), with it being the first of its kind. The actual sounds range from old school analog electronic music, electro-acoustic, musique concrète and noise, obsessively assembled with surgical precision. Octagonist is not compatible with compact disc technology, and must be played through a DVD player or DTS decoder for proper surround sound playback. A stereo mix is also on the disc for the listener that has a normal stereo setup. Special guests Raglani (Kranky) & John Wiese (Troubleman, Helicopter) appear on one track. Octagonist is truly an unparalleled aural experience! For fans of Nurse With Wound, Throbbing Gristle, etc."
