"At the end of 2003, Tobias Becker founded his own label: Platzhirsch Schallplatten. Since March 2004, his records are distributed worldwide through Kompakt. Then, after only 7 months, Platzhirsch ranks among the Top Ten in Groove magazine's reader's poll 'Best German Label' 2004. More gigs follow and he now has the chance of DJing together with acts like Sven Väth, Laurent Garnier, Miss Kittin, Michael Mayer, etc. There are label nights for example at the Panoramabar/Berghain, at Loft (Barcelona) or at Studio 88 (Aix en Provence) etc.! Trallafitti is his first official mix CD and reflects a timeless club night in almost 80 minutes. The CD is 100% from the beginning to the end mixed with vinyl and it hasn't been reworked digitally. Melon is an inherent part of the Dutch techno scene and is among other things resident of the clubs 11 and Paradiso in Amsterdam. In 2006 he founded his label Ratio? Music and under his synonym Je Davu he often produces housey tunes. 'I Zebra' is a stoic tool, which works fine in house and techno sets at the same time.
