Formed in 2006 by an international group of passionate music lovers with the goal of exposing the world to dubstep music, Pressing Issues is a committee-managed, non-profit record label where tracks are produced, submitted and selected for release by members of the online community at dubstepforum.com This debut release is a transatlantic connection featuring London's Reso (Pitch Black, Storming, Urban Graffiti), backed with an impressive offering from Texans Innerlign & Tyrant (Kursed Recordings). Beginning with a tribal groove, Reso's 'Curse Dub' opens the A side with ritualistic drums, building up to a massive wobbling drop that causes heads to spin. On the AA side, Innerlign and Tyrant's '1745' leads with a more melodic take on the dubstep sound. A lone snare beats out a staccato rhythm that builds to a stepper's break and heavyweight bassline that envelopes the track."
