"If you turn 20, you are almost forced to come up with a true heavyweight-turner, in form of a fierce split EP. C.B. Funk aka Chris Beisswenger aka one half of High Tide delivers a chunky, bassheavy piece of kazzo house (watch out for that new pigeonhole), that goes by the name of 'Ralley San Francisco' and kinda moves away from the cut up insanity of his earlier outings to explore new and dark grounds. A dirty pumping bassline underneath crazy-ill and deranged vocals and fancy distorted minimal riffs are on the menu. Music avec cochones, as we say in Russia. On the flipside P. Lauer works a rather offensive piece of dark retro dancemusic. Reject is reminiscent of NY cult-legends Urban Waste's greatest song. Oldschool drums hook up with staccatto bass action, arpeggios, acidlines and sweaty modulated synth mayham. On top of that a crack smoking junkie-roboter keeps on repeating the track's title. Isn't that amazing? DJs will dig this like rappers do hoes and 40s."
