Artist: TSURUBAMI
Title: Tsukuyomi Ni
Label: RIOT SEASON (UK)
Format: CD
Price: $16.00
Catalog #: REPOSE 002CD
"Third album proper from this Japanese trio consisting of Emi Nobuko (Drums) and Acid Mothers Temple duo Higashi Hiroshi (Bass) and Kawabata Makoto (Guitar). All the music on this four song/66 minute album was completely improvised, and not over-dubbed. The sounds fall through different styles of head splitting walls of sonic noise, quiet introspective lulls and freeform freakouts."

Artist: SIGHTINGS
Title: Absolutes
Label: RIOT SEASON (UK)
Format: LP
Price: $17.00
Catalog #: REPOSE 003LP
"Screaming out of New York City, fans of Mainliner, free rock like Wolf Eyes, quiet walks in the park, Harry Pussy, Yoko Ono and herbal tea will really dig this slippery slab. This is a complete baaad-ass hate fest with sub-dermal bass, paper thin razor guitar and Axis of Evil drumfuckery. The vinyl is a strictly limited pressing and will be accompanied by a CD version on Load Records."

Artist: AUFGEHOBEN
Title: Anno Fauve
Label: RIOT SEASON (UK)
Format: CD
Price: $19.00
Catalog #: REPOSE 005CD
"Third CD release from Riot Season and the third album from the newly shortened monikered Aufgehoben (previously Aufgehoben No Process). Anno Fauve sees the band collaborate once again with stereo guitar virtuoso Gary Smith (Mass, Glass Cage, Powerfield etc). Anno Fauve is an album for those who like their music difficult with the density, dynamics and bludgeoning distortion levels that have become the hallmarks of an Aufgehoben release. Anno Fauve contains 6 tracks spread over 50 minutes and comes in a wonderfully weird designed sleeve."

Artist: CULVER-COURTIS
Title: Culver-Courtis
Label: RIOT SEASON (UK)
Format: LP
Price: $17.00
Catalog #: REPOSE 006LP
"Limited edition, untitled 500 only clear vinyl LP by drone / experimental duo Culver-Courtis. This is a collaboration between Anla Courtis of Reynols (Argentina) and Lee Stokoe aka Culver (England). The album is based around beautiful hypnotic drones, kind of avant-garde and kind of calming at the same time. Slightly similar in style to some of Makoto Kawabata's solo work perhaps. Although there are only four 'songs' on the record, it clocks in at near 50 minutes. The LP is a completely remastered reissue of a previous cassette only self release. For fans of : Makoto Kawabata, Sunn o))), Reynols." Limited stock.

Artist: ACID MOTHERS TEMPLE & THE MELTING PARAISO U.F.O.
Title: Minstrel In the Galaxy
Label: RIOT SEASON (UK)
Format: CD
Price: $19.00
Catalog #: REPOSE 007CD
"Minstrel In The Galaxy is the first Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso UFO studio recording since the departure of vocalist/synth goddess Cotton Casino earlier this year. To replace Cotton's space whispers, AMT have recruited Japanese duo Afrirampo (who recently toured Europe with Sonic Youth) to contribute vocals to this album and they fill the void with ease. Musically you can forget the mind-melting guitar psychouts of previous AMT albums, this is the sound of a much darker AMT in comedown mode. Drones, acoustic guitars, misplaced voices and a beautiful 41 minute centre-piece title track all combine to make this their finest experimental studio work since the acclaimed Absolutely Freak Out (Zap Your Mind!) double album. There's still enough of the original AMT sound going on here to keep the hardcore fans happy but also enough twists to bring in a whole new audience too."

Artist: SHIT AND SHINE
Title: Jealous of Shit and Shine
Label: RIOT SEASON (UK)
Format: 2CD
Price: $17.00
Catalog #: REPOSE 011CD
"Having been lauded as the band of Sonar 2006 and following two sold out releases on Riot Season & Latitudes, Shit And Shine return with their debut album proper Jealous Of Shit And Shine. Taking a slightly more mature musical stance, 'JOSAS' is equal parts Strangulated Beatoffs, Butthole Surfers, Merzbow, Melvins and Boredoms -- fusing sonic blasts and monster riffs into a hearty brew. Having already gained a cult following due to their legendary one riff/multi-drummer live shows -- and from sharing stages with Acid Mothers Temple, Lightning Bolt, Sunn O))) and Earth and more -- Shit And Shine are primed to explode. The initial pressing comes packaged as a 2CD set -- the bonus disc being an expanded 17-track version of their sold out You're Lucky To Have Friends Like Us vinyl release."

Artist: ACID MOTHERS TEMPLE & THE MELTING PARAISO U.F.O.
Title: Myth of the Love Electrique
Label: RIOT SEASON (UK)
Format: CD
Price: $17.00
Catalog #: REPOSE 012CD
"Myth Of The Love Electrique is the second Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso U.F.O. album released by Riot Season, following the relatively laid back Minstrel In The Galaxy in 2004. Musically sitting somewhere between their 1997 self-titled debut album and the classic 'out-there' double album Absolutely Freak Out (Zap Your Mind!!!), Myth Of The Love Electrique explores the many shades of the AMT sound, managing to be both wild and beautiful at the same time. From the 'in the red' guitar driven album opener 'The Man From Giacobinid Meteor Comet,' to some quieter acoustic passages during 'Five Dimensional Nightmare,' to the total meltdown felt halfway through the 20 minute 'Love Electrique,' Myth Of The Love Electrique fully explores the whole AMT sound for the first time in years. Live favourite 'Pink Lady Lemonade (May I Drink You Once Again?)', a staple of any AMT live show, is included here on an AMT album for the first time in its normal length, complete with added space whispers from new AMT girl Kitagawa Hao, who fills the now departed Cotton Casino's tiny shoes elegantly."

Artist: BLACK BONED ANGEL
Title: Eternal Love/Eternal Hunger
Label: RIOT SEASON (UK)
Format: LP
Price: $19.00
Catalog #: REPOSE 013LP
"Formed in Lower Hell, New Zealand in 2004. The trio consisting of Campbell Kneale (Birchville Cat Motel), James Kirk and Jules Desmond have been referred to by heavy metal glitterati such as Terrorizer magazine as 'the heaviest band on earth.' Compiling two totally out-of-print CD/CDR releases, Eternal Love/Eternal Hunger comes pressed on black vinyl in a black and metallic silver ink sleeve, limited to 500 only for the world. Fuelled by the murderous beatings of Swans, the widescreen dirges of Corrupted and the transcendental metallized catharsis of Godflesh, Black Boned Angel take heaviness to a whole new level."

Artist: SKULL DEFEKTS, THE
Title: The Black Hand
Label: RIOT SEASON (UK)
Format: LP
Price: $19.00
Catalog #: REPOSE 014LP
"The Black Hand is the first part of a trilogy on black vinyl investigating the power of deep drone and extreme sound and the beast that is creativity and sound. The Skull Defekts were for this recording Henrik Rylander on no-input mixing desk and feedback units and Joachim Nordwall on Drone Machine and effects. Cover design by infamous artist, Fredrik Soderberg. The Skull Defekts was formed by Henrik Rylander and Joachim Nordwall in early 2005. Rylander had been experimenting with feedback for a few years after the death of the infamous Swedish garage rock outfit, Union Carbide Productions where he was the pulse, rhythm and founding member. Quickly they teamed up with legend Jean-Louis Huhta who's been a key character in the Swedish underground music scene since the mid-'80s, and the quartet was complete when Daniel Fagerstrom joined after Eric Olofsson left the band after the recording of Blood Spirits & Drums Are Singing (Conspiracy Records). They have collaborated with Damo Suzuki, Wolf Eyes, CM Von Hausswolff and Lasse Marhaug."

Title: Acid Motherly Love
Label: RIOT SEASON (UK)
Format: CD
Price: $19.00
Catalog #: REPOSE 016CD
"The second Acid Mothers lbum released by Riot Season, following the relatively laidback Minstrel In The Galaxy in 2004. Musically sitting somewhere between their 1997 self titled debut album (PSF) and the classic 'out-there' double album Absolutely Freak Out (Zap Your Mind!!!) (Staticresonance), Myth Of The Love Electrique explores the many shades of the AMT sound, managing to be both wild and beautiful at the same time. From the 'in the red' guitar driven album opener 'The Man From Giacobinid Meteor Comet', to some quieter acoustic passages during 'Five Dimensional Nightmare', to the total meltdown felt halfway through the 20 minute 'Love Electrique'. Artist: SHIT AND SHINE
Title: Cherry
Label: RIOT SEASON (UK)
Format: CD/DVD
Price: $19.00
Catalog #: REPOSE 017CD
"Now available as Limited edition CD & DVD pressing, 1000 copies for the world. Bonus DVD features a pro-shot 35 minute performance recorded for last.fm in London November 2007. What the press have said about Cherry so far: 'The kind of deranged collage that damaged psychedelic warriors like The Butthole Surfers or Bongwater used to come up with. It's an album that defies any kind of neat summation. Immense!' --The Wire. 'Not since Royal Trux and Twin Infinitives has any band released an album as recklessly inventive and sadistically fun as this greasy double helping.' --Rock-A-Rolla; 'Absurdist, addictive, obnoxious and usurped by a general air of alcoholic wrongdoing, feral psychosis and unsettling malice. A murkier, down-the-pub Locust Abortion Technician for a 21st century world hurtling ever closer to bloody-minded oblivion.' --Terrorizer."

Artist: HEY COLOSSUS
Title: Happy Birthday
Label: RIOT SEASON (UK)
Format: CD
Price: $19.00
Catalog #: REPOSE 018CD
"From headlong infusions of psychedelic rock to the limitless furrows of doom, in Happy Birthday London's Hey Colossus has constructed an all conquering citadel of experimental/metal disrepair. The album is a rampaging fire-cloud of superstoked riffs and ever mounting walls of feedback, a rough house collection of battering new songs driven at sweltering pace by a band with a fearless momentum. This is the record that the band has always threatened to unleash - a pitch black album for our ever scorched earth. The band will head out on tour to coincide with album release. For fans of : Unsane, Neu!, Circle, Corrupted, Eyehategod, Fudge Tunnel, Sludge, Doom etc."

Artist: ACID MOTHERS TEMPLE & THE COSMIC INFERNO
Title: Pink Lady Lemonade -- You're From Outer Space
Label: RIOT SEASON (UK)
Format: CD
Price: $19.00
Catalog #: REPOSE 019CD
"This really could be AMT's first 'summer album.' Unlike previous Cosmic Inferno albums this one doesn't reach in the red status often -- it's more out there, like they've gone back to their mountain retreat and taken too much mushroom tea perhaps. But when it does finally soar, Kawabata's guitar has never sounded so alive. The first AMT&TCI studio recordings since the addition of Pikachu, drummer and vocalist with Osaka grenade-girl duo Afrirampo. The popular AMT standard 'Pink Lady Lemonade' showcases a 21st century acid rock update on the '60s San Francisco psychedelic sound. On 'Pink Lady Lemonade - You're From Space,' the Cosmic Inferno crew give PLL a new lease of life and reinvent it as a trippy/chilled out monster. As it rolls on, they sing, adding new riffs and taking it to the stars and back. It's like hearing it for the first time all over again."

Artist: TODD
Title: VVitch
Label: RIOT SEASON (UK)
Format: 7"
Price: $8.00
Catalog #: REPOSE 704
"This four track EP is pressed on grey vinyl, is limited to 500 copies worldwide and follows on from their acclaimed debut album Purity Pledge on Southern. VVitch is fucked up. The vocals are on the minimal side, and what you can hear you wouldn't want to understand. The first song, 'Black Skull' sounds like Devo being sprayed out of an industrial tree shredder, whilst 'Lamenting A Maiden' is a funeral march in the most fucked up way. 'East Coast West Coast' opens up side B and again we're back to the tree shredder. This time Napalm Death are being stuffed through it. Last up the title track 'VVitch' spews forth thick and unholy sludge."
