NORMAN
Title:
Second Continuous EP
Label:
SNORK (GERMANY)
Format:
12"
Price:
$12.00
Catalog #:
SNORK 010B-EP
"Norman´s next step as Snork10B. With the
Second Continuous EP
he continues his cool sound from the first party on Snork10A. Snork10B starts with two powerful funky tracks from Norman and remixes from Andomat 3000 and Syntax Error. Norman brought you the great Feinwerk08 and Feinwerk14 in his steppin' Kassel style. He was influenced a lot by the famous Stammheim Club, when he played there as a resident DJ and he also released on the Hörspielmusik Label which was connected to the Stammheim Club. Side A with Norman´s 'Ich Bin Was Ich Bin,' a house-y and funky track with Norman's typical feeling of dancefloor useful grooves. The second track is the additional remix production from Andomat 3000 who is known for his great jobs on Cadenza, Four Twenty, Cecille, Morris Audio, Platzhirsch etc. etc. or the well known Sush06x mix. Side B is more technoid and more progressive, starting with Norman´s original version 'Zugang Voll Integriert' and gets a powerful progressive remix interpretation from Syntax Error who has releases on Feinwerk and Snork already."

EYEONE
Title:
Abstracks Volume 1
Label:
SNORK (GERMANY)
Format:

Price:
$12.00
Catalog #:
SNORK 011EP
"Fresh French phunky techno release
Abstracks Vol. 1
is the first part of the planned
Abstracks
series by monsieur Eyeone from Paris, France. Eyeone is known from his releases on Resopal Red, the
Dancing with Moles
EP, his last release on Snork Enterprises
L'elephant Rouge
or from labels like Buenda Onda from France or Cuba Recordings from UK. Side A with 'Abstracks I' and 'II 'shows you Eyeone's deep dark mood with their shuffled beats, breaks and cuts and the deep groovy bass. On the flipside, there is the other abstract interpretation of 'Abstracks I' from Heinrichs & Hirtenfellner who are known from their releases on Supdub, Karate Club, Highgrade. They also did a remix on Get Physical or other great labels. This track has a great house-y beat, some nice vocal cuts and a wobbly background which makes the complete track shaking and grooving in the nice super dubby way we know from them. 'Abstracks III' with the dubstep/grime like buzzing bass line is the 4th track of this record and is a bit more experimental. This one will burn your subwoofer. This release should get into the cases of all DJs who rock the floors with records of labels like Supdub, Mo's Ferry, Snork Enterprises, Resopal or M_nus. Supported by: Daniel Steinberg, Tom Clark, Mark Broom, Syntax Error."

DAGTEKIN & SCHACHTA
Title:
Komische Sachen
Label:
SNORK (GERMANY)
Format:
12"
Price:
$12.00
Catalog #:
SNORK 012EP
"Dagtekin & Schachta is a new friendship between Tufan Dagtekin & Christian Schachta (aka Syntax Error who already released on Snork as himself and Snork). They offer two tracks which were made between Giessen in Germany and Istanbul in Turkey. All tracks were recorded finally in Istanbul at Effective Studios, which is run by Tufan Dagtekin. Both tracks have a dark deep atmospheric bassline and the first track 'Geisterbuch' has this spiritual voice which helps to exorcise your ghosts and demons and brings you into trance to feel free on the dancefloor while the air is vibrating around you. 'Tuenel' is more four-to-the-floor-like with its little acid parts and some progressive synth streams. Side B brings you the man from Re:connected also known as Martinez with his long remix of 'Geisterbuch' who sharpens the darkness of the original with his little house-y influences. Also this one will help with your necromancy. Uuuhhh spooky."

DITCH

SNORK (GERMANY)
Format:

Price:
$12.00
Catalog #:
SNORK 013EP
"Two new long tracks from Ditch, this Japanese 'Zimmermann,' loaded with heavy bass, dubby beats and a monster sound are on their long way from Tokyo into your case. Ditch, aka Shinichiro Kono, is a Japanese producer who currently resides in Sendai, Japan. He's been DJing minimal house and techno at various clubs since 2001, but it wasn't until 2005 that he began producing his own tracks that are aimed not only for the dancefloor but also for alternative listening environments. One of his great musical abilities is that he can go in several musical directions while retaining his strong character and this is a remarkable achievement for someone who has been making music for such a short time. This point has helped him to earn the respect of numerous labels over the world."

MONKEY B
Title:
Forward Funk
Label:
SNORK (GERMANY)
Format:
12"
Price:
$12.00
Catalog #:
SNORK 014EP
"Monkey B from Buenos Aires, who already released Fassade records or Googoo or who had a remix on Paradroid´s Snork2, brings you the forward funk in his track on side A of this record. The original has a monster groove filled with a lot microsampling-house like parts and little influences from the so called good old Brighton techno. This track is the perfect choice to start your party if other records haven´t reached this! Push the button or pull the trigger! Julien Chaptal is known for his deep housey grooves which he recently presented on his
Tokens LP
on Area Remote and all his other work for this label and 100% Pure. On side B of the
Forward Funk
, he added much more housey and playful percussions to the beats of the remix version to get a more gallant way of house in this track. Both tracks will burn the upcoming parties, so watch out for this heavy rotation tech-house blaster! Supported by: Loco Dice, Shinedoe, 2000 and one, Bart Skills, Lauhaus, Boris Werner, Miss Fitz, Kabale und Liebe, Dave Tarrida, William Kouam Djoko, Craig Torrance, Norman, Syntax Error."

SAMKLANG
Title:
Ich Zeig Dir Wie Remixes
Label:
SNORK (GERMANY)
Format:
12"
Price:
$12.00
Catalog #:
SNORK 015EP
"The original track 'Ich Zeig Dir Wie' was released on Snork 06, the
Foose EP
by Samklang. This release contains three new, different mixes of the previously-released track. On side A, we have the fathers of the original version, who presents you the sister of this track. The new remixed version by Samklang has a monster house-beat and a mega-shaking groove, which shows you how to dance, or whatever you prefer. Side A's second track is the remix version by Syntax Error, who added a progressive, sawing bass line and some shuffled cuts to the mega-groove of the Samklang remix. This techno-burner will burst your soundsystem. On side B, we got support from Italy´s Luca Bacchetti, who is well known for his good work on Wagon Repair or other labels like Tenax, Sci+Tec and Ovum. In his version, you can feel the breath of his track's soul. This great house-version of the original is another proof of what great work he is known for. Supported by: Richie Hawtin, Norman, Syntax Error."
