"Sonic Meditations is proud to present the 2006 heavy drone suite Center of the Earth by Expo '70. This four part suite is presented on deluxe 180 gram audiophile virgin vinyl housed in gatefold tip-on jackets. Mastered for vinyl by Pete Lyman of Infrasonic Sound. Justin Wright's Expo '70 has been gaining momentum over the years, having started with self-released CDr's, Wright has made a name across the globe for Expo '70. Center of the Earth was recorded over 3 days in 2006, released by Wright himself, the album sold over 650 CDr's. Wright also re-released Center of the Earth last year on his start-up label, Sonic Meditations in a edition of 200 cassette tapes, which quickly sold out. Now Wright is issuing this epic drone album on vinyl, the heavily low-end drenched drone suite will sprawl across 2 180 gram LPs. Due to the length of track 3, it will sprawl across from side C to D. Expo '70 has releases on Beta-lactum Ring, Dead Pilot, Kill Shaman, Peaant Magik, Sloow Tapes and Reverb Worship, just to name a few."

"Long out-of-print cassette originally released on Sloow Tapes (Belgium) in an edition of 70 with hand colored inserts. Cassette sold out within a week and has become quite collectible. Recorded after Expo '70 played France in 2008, just weeks after the IAO festival where the label owner and musician met. Upon returning to the states, the experience spawned the 2 day recording session materializing these 2 improvised tracks with no overdubs. Both tracks begin with rhythmic beats and slowly morph into sprawling ambient pieces, shifting and shifting moods gradually into floating space." Limited to 500 copies on 180 gram vinyl with locked grooves on both sides, full color artwork.

"After and hand-full of limited releases on cassette, CDr and CD formats, Sounding the Deeps fifth album has the pleasure of gracing a vinyl record. Started by David Williams, which blossomed into a trio this past year to rehearse and record compositions, unlike like previous releases, the outcome is a very mature effort. Williams stripped the music down from electric amplification to straight acoustic, adding cello, cymbals and percussion. Arranged with acoustic guitar, the accompanying musicians also lay down accents by way of light percussive rhythms with deep brooding moods. Although it may seem like a new direction, Williams keeps a steady mood in the vein of previous efforts, but retains momentum in capturing a more subtley deep, yet brighter and playful effort. The second half of the record begins more ambient and minimal leading into a meditative rhythm that reaches back into a more melodic reprise as the album matures to the center of the ending point."
