Artist: DAHLBÄCK, JOHN
Title: Man From the Fall
Label: SYSTEMATIC (GERMANY)
Format: CD
Price: $15.50
Catalog #: SYST 002CD
Stockholm Kid Wonder and super busy producer John Dahlbäck has graced the techno world with countless 12"s over the last few years on labels like Turbo, Dessous, Morris Audio, Brique Rouge and, of course, on his own labels Dahlbäck Recordings, Pickadoll and Jackmoves. He also has a strong connection with Marc Romboy's quality imprint Systematic, where he dropped two of his best 12"s and two super dope remixes! As his production style and quality evolved throughout the years, JD is now ready to present his first artist album ever at the innocent age of 19. Man from the Fall contains no less than 15 tracks, all precisely set around the genres of techno, electro and deephouse -- but this is not just another random mixed bag. This is a carefully arranged and gloriously fitting album, which perfectly displays the various moods and styles John is able to generate; starting from calmer and more melodic tunes over super functional electro house corkers to siren-soaked rave anthems. All four to the floor, all in the well- established John Dahlbäck style. Dahlbäck is one of the most promising young artists to come around in a long time.

Artist: ROMBOY, MARC
Title: Gemini
Label: SYSTEMATIC (GERMANY)
Format: CD
Price: $15.50
Catalog #: SYST 003CD
This is Germany-based Marc Romboy's first full-length album. If you take a close look at the electronic dance music scene over the last two years, you'll certainly come across the Systematic label. With only eighteen releases out, Systematic already managed to become a firm favorite with many DJs around the whole globe, with releases and remixes from Booka Shade, Olaf Pozsgay, Martin Landsky, John Dahlbäck, Blake Baxter and Zoo Brazil to name just a few. Now, in 2006 Mister Romboy is about to take the next big step by releasing his very first solo artist album Gemini, a truly impressive collection of state of the art electro-flavored house tracks, that he has produced with Stephan Bodzin and 45 Rocks, that will cause a massive stir in the club world! To make it even more special, Romboy invited some A-list musicians to join him: Robert Owens, late '80s Chicago house legend -- member of the history making Fingers Inc. super-group alongside Larry Heard and Ron Wilson, contributed his unique vocal skills to two tracks. Then Detroit legend Blake Baxter, who is already familiar to the Systematic camp, after his most successful collabo with Romboy called "Freakin'' laid down another exclusive killer hookline on "House Ya." Finally, Tommie Sunshine joins the gang, lending his voice to the clashy broadband rave monster "Body Jack." On Gemini, Marc Romboy manages to combine diverse styles ranging from the deeper shades of house over truly intense electroid flavors with the atmospheric side of jackin' boogie beats. Also included are cold crushing synth sounds, the dirtiest bass action ever and perfectly timed drums guaranteed. Altogether a very mature longplayer that simply rocks the format!

Artist: SUNSHINE/ROMBOY, MARC, TOMMIE
Title: Systematic Sessions Volume Two
Label: SYSTEMATIC (GERMANY)
Format: 2CD
Price: $23.00
Catalog #: SYST 004CD
Double CD mix CD, first disc mixed by Tommie Sunshine, second disc mixed by Marc Romboy. After having released the first part of Systematic Sessions with guest DJ and Pokerflat don Martin Landsky, Marc Romboy invited NY posterboy and Xylophone Jones label owner Tommie Sunshine to join the second volume of this compilation series. On Systematic Sessions CD1, Sunshine again proves why he is one of the most booked US artists. His 18-track mix is an outstanding and individual composition of various styles and genres such as electro, acid house and guitar rock. Lots of the compiled tracks like Jon Autry's "Filling In The Blanks" or Andrea Doria's "Deep Throat" are still not released on vinyl format yet. Also, the way Tommie puts his different a cappellas on songs like Jona's "Monkey Money" or Krikor's "No More OGM" makes his DJ sets and thereby this CD absolutely unique. Systematic label head Marc Romboy comes along with his typical definition of electro and deep house. Starting his mix with groovy and Detroit/Chicago house-inspired tracks such "Where We At" on Innervisions and Gui Boratto's "Arquilago" on Kompakt, Marc is always at pains to select records which girls also fancy. Besides that, Marc has compiled lots of future Systematic releases like Phonique's "River" or his Stephan Bodzin collaboration, "Atlas." This is a future-comp to bust dancefloors. Other artists include: Sigue Sigue Sputnik, DJ Mehdi, Laid (feat. Jon Marsh), Booka Shade, Williams, Induceve, John Acquaviva & Madox, DJ Delicious & Rutte, Kid Alex, Les Visiteurs, Audiofly (feat. Priscilla), Blake, John Dahlbäck, Scratch Massiv, Duoteque, Henrik Schwarz, Dixon & Âme (feat. Derrick Carter), Roger 23, Luna City Express, Tiefschwarz (feat. Tracey Thorn), M.A.N.D.Y, Claude von Stroke, Chelonis R. Jones, Radio Slave and Martin Landsky.

Title: Systematic Colours Volume One
Label: SYSTEMATIC (GERMANY)
Format: CD
Price: $15.50
Catalog #: SYST 005CD
After more than two years, more than 25 releases and a couple of longplayers, it's now time to celebrate the success of the German electro house imprint Systematic Recordings with their very first label compilation. Systematic Colours includes the greatest club hits of the last two years, including productions by Marc Romboy, Booka Shade, Blake Baxter, John Dahlbäck, Zoo Brazil, DJ Fex and Stephan Bodzin, just to name a few. Nobody else than Bremen-based multi producer and DJ Stephan Bodzin (who also has productions on labels like 2020 Vision, Gigolo, Datapunk and his own platform Herzblut) has prepared and mixed this disc and he has produced a homogeneous and flowing 80-minute lasting mix, although the chosen material ranges from zeitgeist-y electro house to classic acid and deep house. The tracks on this compilation include Marc Romboy's collaboration with Booka Shade called "Every Day Of My Life," an exclusive upcoming single release from John Dahlbäck, Phonique's debut release "River," the label's bestseller Abysm, and Stephan's own singles "Marathon Man" and "Tron." Also includes the artists Sebo K., Olaf Pozsgay, Robert Babicz, Hugg & Pepp and Robert Owens. No question, this CD contains the essence of Systematic!

Artist: BABICZ, ROBERT
Title: A Cheerful Temper
Label: SYSTEMATIC (GERMANY)
Format: CD
Price: $15.50
Catalog #: SYST 006CD
A Cheerful Temper is Cologne-based producer Robert Babicz's debut album for Systematic Recordings. Answering the question why he chose this specific name, Babicz explains that he feels caught between two worlds: "The real world of everyday life and a surreal dream world comparable to the backdrop of a fairy tale." Those who have been following Robert's career over the years, know that his sound and the standard of his productions reach almost audiophile standards. No surprise then that many well-known artists such as Martinez, Minilogue and Gabriel Ananda request his special abilities for mastering their productions. One reason for his famous sound stems in part from his collection of old analog equipment from the '60s and '70s, which Robert uses alongside his computer. Besides drum machines like the famous Roland TR808 and TR909, Robert owns a variety of unique machines, like special effects and EQs the size of living rooms, some taken from German TV stations to edit their movies and crime shows. He even uses equalizers used by the secret service and compressors used by East German radio stations -- it is no wonder that the sound quality of the album is both graceful and crystal-clear. Tracks such as "Sin" and "Losing Memories" surprise with their club-compatible deepness, while at the same time moving between the genres of electronica, techno and classic house. A Cheerful Temper is indeed a very special genre-breaking album full of beautiful electronic club music.

Artist: ROMBOY, MARC
Title: Contrast
Label: SYSTEMATIC (GERMANY)
Format: CD
Price: $15.50
Catalog #: SYST 007CD
This is the second full-length release from Systematic founder, Düsseldorf's Marc Romboy. After collaborations with John Dahlbäck, Chelonis R. Jones, Jence and Zoo Brazil, Romboy released his debut artist album Gemini in 2006 to great critical acclaim. Romboy has also released on labels including Ovum, Simple, Brique Rouge, Superstition, 20:20 Vision and more. He also regularly collaborates with Stephan Bodzin, crafting tracks that delicately and melodically enhance the experience of listening to electronic music. Contrast is produced in cooperation with 45 Rocks and brings forth vocal collaborations with artists including Chelonis R. Jones, Blake Baxter and Mr. K-Alexi. Embracing the concept of contrasts as part of a new life philosophy, Romboy pits himself against sonorities that seem antithetical to dance music, but flow in total symbiosis, embracing difference. When you listen to the kicking and techy "Sonora" and afterwards to the Detroit techno-influenced "Elif," with its addition of jazz saxophone, it is as thrillingly high contrast as one could get, defining and defying category.

Artist: JONES, CHELONIS R.
Title: Chatterton
Label: SYSTEMATIC (GERMANY)
Format: CD
Price: $17.00
Catalog #: SYST 008CD
This is the second full-length release from Chelonis R. Jones. The American artist left his home of New York for the shores of Europe in order to pursue a blossoming career in the world of arts. Working as a songwriter and playing vocalist in more than 20 rock/pop groups and pulling a handful of small art shows for his paintings were hardly usual. Struggles were many, penury, usual and homelessness -- obvious. Then in 2001, he was introduced and signed to Get Physical Music. His first 2002 12" release One & One, a collaboration with M.A.N.D.Y. and Booka Shade, started the ball rolling. 2003 followed with another 12" release, I Don't Know, which topped the Belgium Dance Charts twice and put the artist on the map, with thousands of broken hearts to respond and relate. Both singles became unforgettable house classics. 2005 saw the ignition of the self-produced, controversial, lo-fi masterpiece Dislocated Genius, and since 2008, he has worked with many giants of electronic music, from Röyksopp to Oliver Huntemann and from Corrugated Tunnel to Marc Romboy and many more. Chatterton is guaranteed to confound more minds than even Dislocated Genius. This is weird, compelling stuff: an unnerving mix of Chicago/Detroit house, R&B crooning, and pure, grinding, tension-filled German beat that rips your heart out. 2009 is Chatterton's year.

Title: Contrast (The Remixes)
Label: SYSTEMATIC (GERMANY)
Format: 2LP
Price: $20.00
Catalog #: SYST 008LP
Systematic presents a high-quality remix package of Marc Romboy's 2008 Contrast album with outstanding remixes from techno-house icons such as Robert Hood, Konrad Black, Dimitri Andreas, D'Julz, and Technasia. The original album was produced in cooperation with 45 Rocks and featured vocal collaborations with Chelonis R. Jones, Blake Baxter and Mr. K-Alexi. These remixes redefine what it means for an artist to contrast his work against another's, whether through restructuring challenging beats, or by using original musical content to question what works and what doesn't on a dancefloor. Some comments on the remixes include: Josh Wink: "All mixes are darn good"; Will Saul: "The Konrad Black remix is a killer"; Anja Schneider: "Wow, nice package, will play it"; Laurent Garnier: "Superb remixes, full support everywhere"; Gregor Tresher: "Amazing package"; D'Julz: "Very cool Robert Hood remix."

Title: Systematic Colours Volume Two
Label: SYSTEMATIC (GERMANY)
Format: CD
Price: $17.00

After the successful first edition of Systematic Colours, which was compiled and mixed by Stephan Bodzin, it's now time for the label boss himself, Marc Romboy. Catalog #: SYST 010CD
The Systematic label celebrates its fifth anniversary with a 2CD compilation and 5x12" box version, curated by label-head Marc Romboy, including a special mix CD by French DJ, Oxia. With more than 60 quality releases of highly-profiled artists such as Stephan Bodzin, John Dahlbäck, Booka Shade, Blake Baxter and Romboy himself, Systematic Recordings has become one of the most global, influential and successful imprints in tech house. Artist: BABICZ, ROBERT
Title: Immortal Changes
Label: SYSTEMATIC (GERMANY)
Format: CD
Price: $17.00
Catalog #: SYST 011CD
This is the second album by Cologne-based Robert Babicz for the Systematic label. Following on from A Cheerful Temper (SYST 006CD), released in 2007, Immortal Changes shows a warmer side to Babicz's production skills. Bringing in warm melodies, deep and deeper grooves, blissed atmospheres, live strings, live sax, analog bass -- sometimes jacking, but mostly tripping; his journey takes you wherever you choose to let your mind go. Babicz: "My idea behind the album was that I wanted a representation of my inner feelings, things that happened last year, and overall a very personal view on electronic music. Through all the traveling around the world as a live act, I met great people, I saw so many fantastic places, and so on. So my music reflects that a lot: I am building rooms, and sometimes galaxies, where your mind can go and look around, sit down, listen and enjoy. Also, I asked some friends to play some real instruments on my album, as I wanted an even more handmade and soulful sound. On most of the tracks there are real atmospheric recordings, which I recorded on my travels." The tracks on Immortal Changes are airy and melodic, infused with bounce and life, as well as solid beats, field recordings, and organic instrumentation that make this a highly-approachable, worldly dance album.

Artist: ROMBOY VS. ROBERT OWENS, MARC
Title: I Need/The Remixes
Label: SYSTEMATIC (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: SYST 020EP
After the hefty impact of Marc Romboy's collabo with Blake Baxter on the ultra rare "House Ya" one-sider and of course his genre defining longplayer Gemini, here is the first remix single, "I Need" feat. Chicago house legend and Fingers Inc. member Robert Owens. On side A Hugg & Pepp aka the infamous Swedish Dahlbäck cousins deliver us a dry rocking acid manifesto. On the flipside Berlin local, Pokerflat honcho and deephouse maestro Martin Landsky lays down some true rave signals on top of a huge Landsky style house track. Parisian powerhouse DJ Fex delivers the third mix and god Jesus, he did an excellent job with donating us a straight electrohouse groover with acid bleep influences.

Title: Ooh oh i e/It Feels So Good -- The Remixes
Label: SYSTEMATIC (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: SYST 021EP
Sweden's no.1 son John Dahlbäck gained some stunning feedback when he released his Man from the Fall album in 2005, and now it's about time to present some big remixes. Sebo K. delivers a stripped-down and sneaky version of "Ooh oh i e," and house meets neotrance meets Detroit oldschool! Second is Italian electro Peacefrog artist and Italo disco king Marco Passarani, who brings up some typical cow bell acid disco action, which fits perfectly with Systematic stuff! Herbert Boese has been a big player in the Düsseldorf underground scene for ages and he tunes in to some jacking elements, no joke, body mover!

Artist: ROMBOY VS. TOMMIE SUNSHINE, MARC
Title: Body Jack/The Remixes
Label: SYSTEMATIC (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: SYST 022EP
The third single taken from Romboy's super successful debut album sees remixes of his collaboration with NYC dance music posterboy Tommie Sunshine, who composed Felix da Housecat and Miss Kittin's incredible track "Silver Screen." Cologne's electro maestro and Phunkwerk label owner DJ Delicious made a driving electric peaktime monster which fills any dancefloor. Prolific edit and remix master Radioslave aka Rekid delivers a super chunky "schaffel" monster tune with down-pitched vocals and heavy ass bass TNT! Last but not least, Tommie Sunshine adds in some dark and noisy flavors to the original. Once again, state of the art remix packed to the fullest!

Label: SYSTEMATIC (GERMANY)

The Systematic dream team returns with two new traxx of (what they call) space music. After their successful collaborations Luna/Miranda and Ferdinand/Phobos, this is their third common single, before finalizing their very first album. "Atlas" surprisingly shows the disco-esque and groovy side of the Systematic label head and his Bremen-based friend and "Hyperion" begins imposingly again where their smasher "Phobos" stops.

Title: Tron/Midnight Express
Label: SYSTEMATIC (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: SYST 025EP
With releases on Gigolo, Datapunk, Get Physical and 20:20 Vision, Stephan Bodzin caused an earthquake with more than ten degrees on the Richter Scale in electro land. Now Stephan serves us his second and long awaited solo single Tron/Midnight Express on his home label, Systematic. "Tron" is a typical Bodzin groover featuring an extraterrestrial wall of Moog bassline you have never heard before. "Midnight Express" comes along in a rather moodier and laidback way but displays Stephan's knack of creating and choosing the right sounds at the right time.

Artist: ROMBOY, MARC

Title: Sin
Label: SYSTEMATIC (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00
Catalog #: SYST 033EP
Cologne-based electronic music guru Robert Babicz will release the A Cheerful Temper CD album -- a very personal and emotional journey through the outskirts of techno music. "Sin" is the first single taken from this masterpiece, and it is a very atmospheric track with incredible SFX and hymn-like rave signals on top of a killer beat. The flipside belongs to Gui Boratto -- who places the original into a more classy rhythmic corset of grooving drums and basses -- without losing any rave attitude.

Artist: DUSTY KID

Label: SYSTEMATIC (GERMANY)
Format: 12"
Price: $10.00

With five EPs under the Boxer imprint, Alberto and his partner Andrea Ferlin have caused a massive stir in techno land. However, now it is time for Alberto to walk a solo path. "Tsunamy" has to be handled with care as this can damage dancefloors with its explosive sawtooth bassline peak time action. "Milk" is the complete opposite -- a very sensitive and atmospheric groover in the tradition of Border Community.
