Label: TAPESTRY RECORDS (LIECHTENSTEIN)

Price: $28.00
Catalog #: TPT 201LP
"The first legendary Pink Fairies album: a real must for all psychedelia and garage fans. Contains 'Do It,' 'Heavenly Man' and the manifest-track of the band: 'Uncle Harry's Last Freakout,' 10 long minutes of anarchist rock, rich of feedback and acid guitars. This really was 'proto-punk!' The packaging is just like the original one, with external artwork on plastic sleeve." 180 gram virgin vinyl. Limited edition of 1000 copies. Pretty nice realization of the silkscreened outer bag (on extra-heavy mil plastic), with fold out jacket and insert. Originally issued on Polydor, 1971. Artist: FAMILY
Title: Music In A Doll's House
Label: TAPESTRY RECORDS (LIECHTENSTEIN)
Format: LP
Price: $23.00
Catalog #: TPT 202LP
"This is the first Family album, with their unique and already mature style. Different form their more psych and prog counterparts, Family mixed rock with folk, jazz and blues. Roger Chapman's voice stands out in a crowd on a great list of songs for a music that's still fresh, attractive, original. One of the best debut albums of the '60s." 180 gram virgin vinyl. Limited edition of 1000 copies.

Artist: ASHKAN
Title: In From the Cold
Label: TAPESTRY RECORDS (LIECHTENSTEIN)
Format: LP
Price: $26.00
Catalog #: TPT 204LP
"Featuring the talents of singer Steve Bailey, bassist Ron Bending, drummer Terry Sims and guitarist Bob Weston (later of Fleetwood Mac), Ashkan made their recording debut with this 1969 heavy progressive rock masterpiece. Similar to Leafhound, Free, Human Beast, T2 and early Spooky Tooth's. Propelled by Bailey's hoarse growl and the band's penchant for frantic driving guitars, harsh vocals and pounding drums." 180 gram virgin vinyl. Limited to 1000 copies.

Artist: MELLOW CANDLE
Title: Swaddling Songs
Label: TAPESTRY RECORDS (LIECHTENSTEIN)
Format: LP
Price: $28.00
Catalog #: TPT 206LP
"From Dublin, Ireland, comes this imaginative psychedelic folk rock progressive stunt, with the singing talents of two ladies: Alison Williams and Clodagh Simonds, in addition to bassist Frank Boylan, drummer William Murray and guitarist Dave Williams. The music displayed a prodigious degree of natural talent for songwriting, harmonizing, and arrangement. A folk-rock gem in the vein of Fairport Convention or Fotheringay." 180 gram virgin vinyl. Gatefold sleeve. Limited edition of 1000 copies.

Artist: BOHEMIAN VENDETTA
Title: Bohemian Vendetta
Label: TAPESTRY RECORDS (LIECHTENSTEIN)
Format: LP
Price: $28.00
Catalog #: TPT 207LP
"This is one of the best acid-punk LPs ever! Excellent Vox organ/fuzz teen garage psych and the covers are pretty fantastic as well. The cough syrup high school play vibe of 'Deaf, Dumb & Blind' must be heard to be believed. Easily one of the best on the label with lots of classy psych-punk originals and a truly unique vibe all through it." 180 gram virgin vinyl. Limited to 1000 copies. Originally released 1968.

Artist: END, THE
Title: Introspection
Label: TAPESTRY RECORDS (LIECHTENSTEIN)
Format: LP
Price: $28.00
Catalog #: TPT 208LP
"Introspection is a lost nugget from the psychedelic era of the late '60s, produced by bassist Bill Wyman of The Rolling Stones, with Nicky Hopkins & Charlie Watts as guests. This is one of the most important of all the great psychedelic albums of the late '60s: great songs, lovely vibes, a psychedelic masterpiece of vibrant guitars and compositions!" 180 gram virgin vinyl. Limited to 1000 copies.

Artist: LOLLIPOP SHOPPE, THE
Title: Just Colour
Label: TAPESTRY RECORDS (LIECHTENSTEIN)
Format: LP
Price: $28.00
Catalog #: TPT 209LP
"After The Weeds signed to UNI Records they changed their name to The Lollipop Shoppe to fit in with the current trend of bubblegum music. The band's 1968 LP Just Colour, is hardly bubblegum, but instead a mix of garage rock and psychedelia. The album and its single, 'You Might Be a Witch,' are regarded as period classics and still prized by collectors. The band opened for stars such as Janis Joplin and The Doors, and appeared in the biker movie Angels from Hell." 180 gram virgin vinyl. Limited to 1000 copies. Yes, one of Fred (Dead Moon) Cole's earliest (and most legendary) bands!

Artist: CARAVAN
Title: Caravan
Label: TAPESTRY RECORDS (LIECHTENSTEIN)
Format: LP
Price: $28.00
Catalog #: TPT 213LP
"Caravan were the other half of the Wild Flowers -- the Soft Machine being the other -- that originated in Canterbury, Kent. The band itself was originally formed in early 1968 by guitarist/vocalist Pye Hastings, keyboardist Dave Sinclair, bassist/vocalist Richard Sinclair, and drummer Richard Coughan. All four members of Caravan were top quality. They were a leading exponent of what became known as 'the Canterbury sound,' and this debut album is a keen mixture of prog rock and jazz." 180 gram virgin vinyl. Limited to 1000 copies.

Artist: LINCOLN ST. EXIT
Title: Drive It
Label: TAPESTRY RECORDS (LIECHTENSTEIN)
Format: LP
Price: $26.00
Catalog #: TPT 214LP
"Lincoln St. Exit were New Mexico's lead garage/psych band of the late '60s/early '70s, one of the few Indian Native American groups. Drive It was their first full length LP. Ranging from the psych-heavy blues ridden 'Dirty Mother Blues' to the easy going 'Soulful Drifter,' in between there are songs reflecting the times, the Vietnam era vibe hanging over the U.S. Guitarists Mike Martin & R.C. Gariss are backed up by the rhythm section of Mac Suazo (bass) & Lee Herres (drums). This band opened for many a headliner coming through the Southwest, and provided great performances throughout. Outstanding!" 180 gram virgin vinyl, limited edition of 1000 copies.

Artist: WEB, THE
Title: Theraphosa Blondi
Label: TAPESTRY RECORDS (LIECHTENSTEIN)
Format: LP
Price: $26.00
Catalog #: TPT 217LP
"It all started back in 1967 when the musicians Lennie Wright, Kenny Beveridge, Tom Harris, Tony Edwards and John Eaton moved to London and started a band they gave a rather hopeless name: John L. Watson and The Web. Watson was an American singer who had joined the band. The year after, the band wisely changed their name to just The Web, and recorded their first album called Fully Interlocking. This is the follow-up Theraphosa Blondi and has some greatly listenable moments, showing a band deep into the current of post-pop progressive rock music." 180 gram virgin vinyl, limited edition of 1000 copies.

Artist: KALEIDOSCOPE
Title: Tangerine Dream
Label: TAPESTRY RECORDS (LIECHTENSTEIN)
Format: LP
Price: $28.00
Catalog #: TPT 218LP
"Kaleidoscope's Tangerine Dream is an absolute classic of the genre. Equally ranking with such classics as Syd Barrett-era Floyd, Tomorrow, Blossom Toes, Zombies and, of course, The Beatles. Peter Daltrey's fairytale lyrics and the group's exquisite playing, with beautiful harmonies and memorable hooks, simply captivate the listener transporting them into a colorful kaleidoscopic dream. This totally demonstrates what was so great about the fertile U.K. pop psych scene of '67 thru '69. Dizzying." 180 gram virgin vinyl, limited edition of 1000 copies.

Artist: HUMAN INSTINCT
Title: Stoned Guitar
Label: TAPESTRY RECORDS (LIECHTENSTEIN)
Format: LP
Price: $28.00
Catalog #: TPT 219LP
"Aborigine guitarist Billy TK was the Jimi Hendrix of the Southern Hemisphere. He obviously took the lessons of the Master to heart and on his albums with Human Instinct, he took Hendrix's psychedelic approach to absurd new extremes. Not necessarily the greatest listening experience, but definitely the farthest 'out' of any guitar psyche you're likely to ever hear. This album, splendidly reissued, is one of the most important chapters of rock from that era and a not-to-be-missed masterpiece for all collectors." 180 gram virgin vinyl, limited edition of 1000 copies.

Artist: C.O.B.
Title: Spirit Of Love
Label: TAPESTRY RECORDS (LIECHTENSTEIN)
Format: LP
Price: $28.00
Catalog #: TPT 220LP
"The finest band of the early '70s UK folk fusion scene! Clive Palmer (of ISB fame) and his pals created music of such ethereal tripped-outedness -- while managing to refrain from the anxious attack which ISB suffered from -- that the final results are of sublime psychedelic proportions. Spirit Of Love is ancient and plaintive, more reserved (and thus more mysterious) than ISB. And it contains 'Wade in the Water,' surely one of the greatest tracks ever recorded!" 180 gram virgin vinyl, limited edition of 1000 copies.

Artist: KALEIDOSCOPE
Title: Faintly Blowing
Label: TAPESTRY RECORDS (LIECHTENSTEIN)
Format: LP
Price: $28.00
Catalog #: TPT 225LP
"Faintly Blowing, released by the Fontana label in 1969, was the second and last album Kaleidoscope made before signing to Vertigo and changing their name to Fairfield Parlour. Faintly Blowing falls right in the middle of the band's discography. For every acid-drenched rock song with overdriven guitar feedback, phased drums, and heavy organ, there's a folky ballad and a wonderfully orchestrated and whimsical psychedelic pop gem. This is the most diverse of all the band's releases, and fans of the Pretty Things, The Kinks, Blossom Toes, Tomorrow, and early Pink Floyd will find a whole lot to love among the album's 12 tracks." 180 gram virgin vinyl, gatefold sleeve, limited edition of 1000 copies.

Artist: SOFT MACHINE
Title: The Soft Machine
Label: TAPESTRY RECORDS (LIECHTENSTEIN)
Format: LP
Price: $28.00
Catalog #: TPT 226LP
"The Soft Machine deftly combine '60s psych-pop, jazz, and rock into a unique sound that stands up to repeated listenings more than most music today. The instrumentals are awesome -- interplay between organ, drums, bass and vocals make for intricate rockers with priceless moments. Wyatt's lispy voice is off-putting at first, but endearing on more listens, aided by his clever and often witty lyrics. Songs like 'A Certain Kind,' 'Save Yourself,' 'Lullabye Letter,' and 'Why Are We Sleeping' are great '60s psych-pop, with good hooks, but still original sounding." 180 gram virgin vinyl, gatefold sleeve, limited edition of 1000 copies.

Artist: CAMEL
Title: Camel
Label: TAPESTRY RECORDS (LIECHTENSTEIN)
Format: LP
Price: $23.00
Catalog #: TPT 227LP
"Camel's debut album is probably one of their best. It was a quite rough and unpolished product, but it still featured the two first classic Camel tracks with the beautiful 'Mystic Queen' and the catchy 'Never Let Go.' Both tracks demonstrated the group's ability to write very strong vocal-melodies combined with lengthy and tasty instrumental-passages. 'Never Let Go' also featured one of the few examples recorded of a mellotron solo. 'Separation' and the opener 'Slow Yourself Down' are both harder rock tracks where the latter one is the most complex and progressive, featuring some excellent solos from Latimer and Bardens." 180 gram virgin vinyl, limited edition of 1000 copies. Originally issued in 1973.

Artist: FANTASY
Title: Paint A Picture
Label: TAPESTRY RECORDS (LIECHTENSTEIN)
Format: LP
Price: $26.00
Catalog #: TPT 228LP
"Originally titled Virgin On The Ridiculous, Fantasy's Paint A Picture has long been hailed as a masterpiece of classically influenced, quintessentially English progressive rock, full of delightful twists and turns and instrumental prowess, coupled with an uncanny talent for songwriting, including 'The Award,' a tribute to their late guitarist Bob Vann. Also featured was the commercially inclined 'Politely Insane,' which was written and recorded on the same day. Brass was later added, and the track provided the label with the single they wanted." 180 gram virgin vinyl, gatefold sleeve, limited edition of 1000 copies. Originally issued in 1973.

Artist: COYNE, KEVIN
Title: Case History
Label: TAPESTRY RECORDS (LIECHTENSTEIN)
Format: LP
Price: $23.00
Catalog #: TPT 229LP
"Coyne released his first LP in 1972, Case History, on John Peel's Dandelion label. With just a guitar, and a few of Siren's members here and there, Kevin stuns the listener with stories of love, anger, independence, and the psychiatric patients he had begun to work with, after dropping out of art school. After Case History, Kevin was phoned by Richard Branson, the soon to be multimillionaire media mogul. Richard was then starting Virgin Records, and was seeking acts. Kevin was part of the first signings to the label that included Mike Oldfield and Gong." 180 gram virgin vinyl, limited edition of 1000 copies.

Artist: SPIROGYRA
Title: Bells, Boots and Shambles
Label: TAPESTRY RECORDS (LIECHTENSTEIN)
Format: LP
Price: $26.00
Catalog #: TPT 230LP
"This third album by Spirogyra is in many ways their most progressive/folk oriented -- flutes, trumpets, cellos, treated vocals, long instrumental sections -- and of course it features singer Barbara Gaskin, later of Hatfield and The North, National Health and the famed Dave Stewart/Barbara Gaskin juggernaut. All songs and male vocals are by Martin Cockerham, who writes very hummable tunes with biting lyrics. Some collectors fondly label it a 'lost classic,' since many people did re-discover it. Excellent!" 180 gram virgin vinyl, limited edition of 1000 copies. Originally issued in 1973.

Artist: SIR LORD BALTIMORE
Title: Kingdom Come
Label: TAPESTRY RECORDS (LIECHTENSTEIN)
Format: LP
Price: $28.00
Catalog #: TPT 233LP
"Sir Lord Baltimore was a pioneering American heavy metal band from Brooklyn, New York, formed in 1968 by lead vocalist/drummer John Garner, guitarist Louis Dambra, and bass player Gary Justin. Released in 1970 on Mercury Records, Kingdom Come features very fast-paced, rhythm & blues-based rock 'n' roll with distortion in both the guitar and bass. Their style of rock was considerably different from the majority of that era's: so much that a 1971 review of this record, contained the first documented use of the term 'heavy metal' to refer to a style of music." 180 gram virgin vinyl, gatefold sleeve, limited edition of 1000 copies.

Artist: STONE CIRCUS
Title: The Stone Circus
Label: TAPESTRY RECORDS (LIECHTENSTEIN)
Format: LP
Price: $23.00
Catalog #: TPT 235LP
Originally issued in 1969. "An obscure bit of psychedelic pop issued briefly at the end of the '60s, this one has a tighter groove and hipper sound than most of its contemporaries! The Stone Circus may have only left this one album behind in their career, but it's a plenty great one, and shows the group to be extremely focused and polished, with a highly rhythmic, and even a bit funky sound! Already known as The Funky Farm, the music they do here is a tight blend of basslines, snapping drums, organ, and guitar with bits of vibes thrown into the mix at a few especially great points in the set. Tracks are mostly originals -- done with a bit of fuzz at times -- with clever lyrics and titles." 180 gram virgin vinyl, limited edition of 1000 copies.

Artist: BLODWYN PIG
Title: Ahead Rings Out
Label: TAPESTRY RECORDS (LIECHTENSTEIN)
Format: LP
Price: $23.00
Catalog #: TPT 236LP
Originally released in 1969. "Blodwyn Pig were formed by Jethro Tull's original guitar player Mick Abrams immediately following Tull's initial release, This Was. Abrahams split, but the group he formed was no mere spin-off. Blodwyn Pig was every bit the equal of Jethro Tull. Abrahams was and is a first-rate blues guitarist. His electric guitar stylings are instantly recognizable, and he is also a master of acoustic fingerstyle blues guitar. Sax and flute man Jack Lancaster shared Ian Anderson's fondness for imitating jazzman Roland Kirk. Lancaster even replicated Kirk's trick of playing two horns at the same time." 180 gram virgin vinyl, gatefold sleeve, limited edition of 1000 copies.

Artist: LOVE
Title: False Start
Label: TAPESTRY RECORDS (LIECHTENSTEIN)
Format: LP
Price: $23.00
Catalog #: TPT 242LP
Originally issued in 1970. "One of the very few major rock groups to then feature a racially mixed lineup, Love was led by productive singer-songwriter Arthur Lee. After cutting three albums, the band fell apart. The original lineup's albums are very very good, including this one where Lee had the good luck to jive Jimi Hendrix into making a guest appearance ('The Everlasting First'). Lead guitarist Rowles puts across a Hendrix imitation that completely fooled me on 'Slick Dick' and 'Ride That Vibration.' The rest of the record is a lark, with Lee veering between funky sludge rock (the live cut 'Stand Out') and flaky soul harmonies ('Keep On Shining')." 180 gram virgin vinyl, gatefold sleeve, limited edition of 1000 copies.

Artist: SMITH, BOB
Title: The Visit
Label: TAPESTRY RECORDS (LIECHTENSTEIN)
Format: 2LP
Price: $23.00
Catalog #: TPT 244LP
"The Visit was recorded in 1970 in L.A. and it redefined the existing borders of the psychedelic movement, resulting in obscure and complex songs with mindblowing instrumentation and depth. Not really a solo album at all, as Smith is backed by eight very capable musicians. Much of the music is instrumental, achieving a mystical and 'psychedelic' atmosphere, although there are a few more mainstream tracks and some nice bluesy guitar work in places. The original pressing (especially with the amazing psychedelic poster) has skyrocketed in value in recent years. Another significant collectable from the California rock scene that will interest many." 180 gram virgin vinyl, limited edition of 1000 copies, gatefold sleeve, with poster insert.

Artist: FAIRPORT CONVENTION
Title: What We Did On Our Holidays
Label: TAPESTRY RECORDS (LIECHTENSTEIN)
Format: LP
Price: $28.00
Catalog #: TPT 250LP
"Their second album captures Fairport Convention poised between the more embryonic, American-influenced rock of their debut and the more pronounced British folk-rock that would follow. Newly arrived vocalist Sandy Denny contributes her haunting songs and indelibly husky voice, Ian (later Iain) Matthews lofts his angelic tenor into the mix, stacking solid covers of Joni Mitchell and Bob Dylan beside traditional English songs and stirring originals from Denny, Matthews, Richard Thompson, and Ashley Hutchings. As such, Holidays works both on its own terms and as a position paper on Fairport's emerging ambition to find a distinctive accent for their alternately hearty, witty, and somber music." Originally released 1969. 180 gram virgin vinyl. Limited edition of 1000 copies.

Artist: WOODEN HORSE
Title: II
Label: TAPESTRY RECORDS (LIECHTENSTEIN)
Format: LP
Price: $23.00
Catalog #: TPT 253LP
"Reissue of an ultra-rare UK progressive folk-rock from 1972, with a very elegantly commercial-devised edge in places, this second LP results in a rather immediate and very accessible album overall. All these beautifully constructed songs are smartly composed and played out with feel and warmth. The Wooden Horse featured the engaging voice of Susan Traynor who went on to mid-'70s Fox fame, and a style that falls somewhere between the gems of Peter, Paul and Mary and The Velvet Underground." 180 gram virgin vinyl. Limited edition of 1000 copies.

Artist: FAMILY
Title: Entertainment
Label: TAPESTRY RECORDS (LIECHTENSTEIN)
Format: LP
Price: $23.00
Catalog #: TPT 254LP
"This album begins with a stalwart of the live show and is the most played of any Family song on the radio, 'Weaver's Answer.' John Whitney and Roger Chapman were writing separately as well as Rik Gretch. What results is much like a Grateful Dead studio album: songs that did not really sound great there but were transformed by public performance. 'Second Generation Woman' sounds like any other band except Family, and of the slower songs, 'How-Hi-The-Li' is a must. The lack of live albums by this band means that one needs to have the studio albums to capture the joys of their sound. Well worth having in your collection even if it is only for 'Weaver's Answer.'" 180 gram virgin vinyl. Limited edition of 1000 copies. We're told this is the last ever reissue to come out on the Tapestry label (putting Liechtenstein on the map since early 2007!).
