Artist: ARGY
Title: Day One
Label: THESE DAYS (UK)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: TD 001EP
"These Days was founded in January 2009 by Argy as a platform on which to present his own more personal material and the work of artists, both new and old, that fit his vision of contemporary, soulful club music. The label begins with a three part connecting series of records which remains musically unrestricted by the traditional concepts associated with the common EP. The first part, Day One by Argy, showcases three very different tracks, referencing some of his most important influences up to now. Within these pieces he displays the ability to work closely with session musicians and sourced artists to create a more improvised live sound, showing also his talent when structuring song like pieces or even approaching the sensitive idea of making a cover, as in his version of the 1994 classic 'Bottom Heavy'."

Artist: ARGY & THE MARTINEZ BROTHERS/DJ DUKE
Title: Day Two
Label: THESE DAYS (UK)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: TD 002EP
"Pressed on a limited amount of copies, Day Two is the second release from These Days records. Featuring tracks from Argy & The Martinez Brothers and DJ Duke, this EP is a tribute to the New York disco movement of the '70s and '80s. This bold and soulful package rounds up with a trademark dubbed out remix from the widely respected Beat Pharmacy. When placed together, the records of the trilogy series will complete a puzzle revealing a connective artwork across the three sleeves."

Artist: FILSONIK
Title: Day Three
Label: THESE DAYS (UK)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: TD 003EP
"The initial These Days trilogy concludes with a collection of works and remixes of New York artist and resident Filsonik. 'Diva Jaguar' is a deep and mosaic journey which weaves vibrant percussion between subtle textured pads and flowing melodic synths to create a unique spiritual moment. Raw elements of the original are extracted and distilled to leave an organic, hypnotic flow in These Days' beats version. Argy's tool version of Filsoniks 'Can U' features on the flip side as an absolute percussive dancefloor groove. Alexander Ross takes 'Diva Jaguar' in a completely different direction with a soaring, spacial cut which layers a driving beat and echoing, dubbed synths over bass and textures from the original."

Artist: ARGY
Title: What Time Is It?/Let Me Out
Label: THESE DAYS (UK)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: TD 004EP
"These Days 04 is clearly Argy's most mature and complete work to date, continuing, as he has done in the past, to re-form a classic American sound and re-present that sound as contemporary yet timeless, soulful club music. A Side 'What Time Is It?' gradually layers rapturous walls of sound to create a peak time moment of tension which serves equally both the body and the mind. B Side 'Let Me Ou,t' a collaboration with vocalist Tony 'Ditto' Dreannan, is bound to secure its place interminably as an emotional and contemplative early morning anthem."

Artist: ARGY/ALEXANDER ROSS
Title: Universal Consciousness 1.1
Label: THESE DAYS (UK)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: TD 005EP
"2009 was a great year for These Days records, and 2010 promises to be even better. The platform stood out for its innovative yet functional club sound and unique artwork concepts. The new year begins with a new split series under the name Universal Consciousness, based on the idea of connection between all things, and that all things have been coordinated, and they combine to make up the same universe. The first part is dedicated to two very different takes on spiritual, cosmic space techno. On the A-side Argy's 'Sometimes I'm blind' generates a long and uplifting emotional climax, which features a solo that will forever stay in your heart. The track was recorded at the end of 2008, and despite numerous offers to release the record elsewhere, nothing was finalized and the recording never saw the light of day. Soon after the birth of his own label, it naturally fit the platform and seemed a perfect way to start the new year. On the flip side, Sheffield born Alexander Ross, brings forth a cavernous techno piece awash with reverberation and spatial echoes that brings a driving yet non the less emotionally captivating moment perfectly in balance with the depth of the A-Side."

Artist: ARGY
Title: Argy Presents: D.Edge São Paulo
Label: THESE DAYS (UK)
Format: CD
Price: $17.00
Catalog #: TD 008CD
German DJ/producer Argy has managed to become a leading figure in the most recent wave of house music producers, and now he presents one of his favorite clubs in the world, D.EDGE, via a mix CD on his much talked-about These Days label. Located in futuristic yet classic and tumultuous São Paulo, Brazil, D.Edge is believed to be one of the leading and most influential clubs. Its design and artistic direction, alongside its very passionate and dedicated following, have made D.Edge an institution for modern house and techno music, having high profile guests performing throughout the whole year. After the club's invitation for Argy to perform there and visit the city for a short period of time, a strong bond was created, and the artist felt the need to express this enthusiasm through his most immediate medium. In this mix, Argy does what he does best, which is to effortlessly combine old classics with a modern club sound, in the process creating a remarkable sonic energy. The musical journey is mixed in a more natural and less computerized "real club DJ mix" style, with wonderful dynamics, key-perfect mixing and with a music lover's sensitivity, combining a broad spectrum of different colors and textures throughout the CD, while always remaining constantly connected to the venue's sound. The audio collage, featuring Kerri Chandler, Motor City Drum Ensemble, David Alvarado and Aril Brikha, to name but a few, leads you through at least four different mind states from darker Detroit melodies, to percussive DJ tools, classic NY house, and finally, euphoric techno. The beautifully-curated and stunning product includes a mysterious hidden track of recorded Brazilian wild forest ambience. Last but not least, the CD includes an electronic download voucher that offers the songs as separate, full length tracks. An exclusively in-house production made with great care and passion from music lovers and aimed at like-minded people. Other artists include: Etienne Jaumet, Christian Vance, Art Of Tones, Jaw, Reelsoul & Alix Alvarez, Argy & DJ Said, Filsonik, Jerome Sydenham, Dennis Ferrer, Kaoz, DJ Duke, 51 Days, and Ribn.

Title: Cytheria (Album Sampler)
Label: THESE DAYS (UK)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: TD 009EP
Here is a 12" sampler of June's debut album Cytheria with two tracks and two remixes by critically-acclaimed Terre Thaemlitz aka DJ Sprinkles of one of June's older tracks "Lost Area." Sprinkles delivers epic remixes that take one to a forgotten musical territory somewhere between early Warp Records, Hacienda, '80s New York club sounds and older Balearic music. On the whole, this EP is a great balance between dancefloor-oriented tracks and synth-pop.

Artist: JUNE
Title: Cytheria
Label: THESE DAYS (UK)
Format: CD
Price: $17.00
Catalog #: TD 010CD
This is the debut album by June. After the ingenious June white label came out, These Days Records' office fell in love with it and without wasting any time rushed to contact the mysterious artist and propose an album. Although well-hidden in a secret back-alley of West London where June lives and dreams music, his unique approach on acid house, synth wave, Chicago house and '80s nostalgia was too good to be left unnoticed and has been favored by people such as Panorama Bar's Steffi, Mathematics's owner Hieroglyphic Being, Terre Thaemlitz and the Clone record store, to name but a few. Almost half a year after his Alleviation EP, June's debut album Cytheria has been realized. Includes 10 new songs and 4 from the artist's back catalog, retaining a great balance between dancefloor-oriented tracks and synth-pop.

Artist: QUELL
Title: Perception EP
Label: THESE DAYS (UK)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: TD 011EP
This is Quell's first personal EP for These Days. Drawing influences from a few distant (chronologically) yet classic styles of dance music, starting from disco-flavored house all the way to friendly nods at Kerri Chandler, Ron Trent, Chez Damier and the earlier period of New York City's Ibadan Records, this EP blends all of these influences together in a most elegant and mature way.

Artist: MOONY ME
Title: Konfused
Label: THESE DAYS (UK)
Format: 12"
Price: $12.00
Catalog #: TD 012EP
These Days announces the signing of the mysterious Venezuela-born artist, Moony. His disco-influenced pop-house track filled the label's office with so much love that they couldn't resist giving it a proper release. On the remix duties, label owner and house music protagonist Argy crafted a much heavier and UK rave-inspired dancefloor destroyer that is applicable to almost every moment of the night. Quell's remix is for those who are into more new-school Balearic atmospheres combined with old school New York-style bass-lines.
